Aletha Riter: I have always LOVED this story and I gave it to my husband over 40 years ago when we were first dating. I was his Velveteen Rabbit. When I saw this title that said: The Classic Edition I knew I had to have it as I gave it to my Husband last Christmas in 2022. Thank you for bringing back the memories of why I gave it to him so long ago. It is now amongst other classic's that my husband collects., in a lawyer's bookcase. It is facing outward so you can see it in the front cover, which is so delicate and beautiful.

Susan Barreau: I think that the illustrations in this particular book, just make it one of the BEST of the "The Velveteen Rabbit" books to have ever been brought out! The illustrations are just stunning, and beautiful, soft and delightful. Interwoven within the story of the velveteen rabbit, and the little boy who receives him for Christmas one year. A beautiful book, really meant to be something a child could keep forever. I bought one for each of my grandchildren, and there is space in the front to write who the book is for, and who it is from...a lovely touch.

iiiireaderiiiireader: The media could not be loaded.  This is the second in a series of Classic Coloring books featuring the artwork of Charles Santore. The story is Margery Williams Bianco and the illustrations are by Charles Santore. Along with the story and the designs, there are thumbnail color pictures from the storybook on the inside front and back covers. That way, you can use similar colors if you so choose.

The book is a larger than standard format. The designs are mostly done in grayscale with a small amount of line drawings in most of the designs.

It is set up in true storybook style, with the text on the left hand side (back of page) and the illustration to the right. Some mediums will bleed through the page (see below), which will interfere with the text but if that doesn't bother you, you can treat the book as if the designs were one sided.

This is what I found while coloring in the book and testing my coloring medium on the paper:
