Big Beach: I installed a attachable bidet to our toilet. I found that in order to work you needed a strong stream. Except first thing in the morning our well water was very cold. I found the stream irritated the sensitive skin where it was used. If you were not careful it would also spray water internally. I found the Happy Bottom portable bidet to be easy to use, more effective, not irritating to my skin and you could control the water temperature. The Happy Bottom is well designed with the perfect wand length and angle.

Scent of Magic: My housemate saw my Happy Bottom Portable Bidet in the bathroom, loved using it, and now is getting one for our other bathroom too. In fact, she is making lists of folks to give it too as gifts. It started when I was reviewing some camping items online and portable bidets came up every now and then. Can't say I thought of a "portable" bidet before but it did inspire thoughts of a fresh feeling bottom while out camping in the outdoors. I started researching them and ordered a couple to compare. Happy Bottom was the definite winner! Like the generous size for plenty of water. The color (gray) and hourglass shape is esthetic and goes great with our bathroom decor. It's soft, durable and fits perfect in the hand. Love the long spout that makes it easy and effective to use and it just pops back in the bottle when finished. The space around the retracted spout and cap, allow the bottle and spout to dry. A nice perk is the storage bag and that the company is a family run operation in South Carolina. I do wish they provided the closed cap that they sell on their website. It would be great to have the option of using the cap to seal the bottle if carrying it with water inside. Guess I'll...

John: Seriously. Just do. It's easy to use and compact, and has rubber o-rings in the upper tube and cap.
I use it at home since I couldn't get an external bidet hose installed and I am fully happy with it. The grey version I ordered does not have an "air valve" on the bottom and I think it's the best for getting maximum pressure out the mini showerhead.
Since it's portable, I can also fill it up with fresh water (not ice cold from the toilet tap) and add a tiny drop of soap in.

Now I have trouble imagining myself not cleaning my bum bum after using the toilet, but luckily this bidet is portable meaning I get to stay clean even when travelling.

This is not the last one I'm buying since I'll be offering it to some friends. Let's spread butt cleanliness (not the other thing) and bankrupt tp companies on the way UwU

The Tragic Poet: I respect that people don't like this bidet but I'm going to throw my opinion in there.

I've been using this bidet for a full year. I originally bought one, then I bought two, then I bought three more, and I just bought 6 more.

Let's get this out of the way: It's not as "good" as a bidet that you would install on your toilet. However, that complaint is sort of like buying candy and then being annoyed that it isn't as good as cake. They are 2 different things that have their own appropriate situation in which they are useful. Sure, cake is better? However, it costs more, it's more labor intensive, it's less portable, you may be susceptible to gluten, and more than anything, it may be overkill when you just want something sweet.

Firstly, this bidet is portable. A normal installed bidet isn't going to help you at a gas station, at a friends house, at a restaurant, and at work. And in fact, those are the places where you are going to need this thing the most, when you're in a shared bathroom where you may not be fully relaxed, where you may be rushed to complete your business, or where you may not have a squatty potty, all of which will make it hard to evacuate...

Ciara MV: I bought mine for postpartum use and while it worked the way it was supposed to, I felt comfortable travelling around with it and not be embarrassed at the airport or something.

The only flaw is that after some time, mine started getting this red spot (hard water stain) at the nozzle. It could be my fault for not wiping it dry after use. So just watch out for that. It is a minor thing.

The video on the product page shows the nozzle staying up when pulled up. That doesn't happen, which means you have to figure out how to keep that nozzle engaged and pointing in the same direction, while avoiding dumping water all over your self/toilet/floor. Not much better than a sport-top water bottle, as is.

The bottle itself, packaging, concept, etc. are all good -- except I'd like to see it packaged without plastic (why do I need to be able to see it?). It's a good size for travel.

I've contacted the company and will update my review/rating with their response, if one comes.

UPDATE: company responded promptly and replaced the nozzle. After receiving the replacement I saw what the problem was. There is an o-ring that needs to slot between the stopper and the rest of the nozzle. On the first nozzle, the o-ring had dropped down to be over the stopper and since it is the same color I didn't see it. Moving that o-ring to where it belongs made the first nozzle work as expected, also. Updating review to 4 stars.
