Mr. Tim: I install these exclusively when a project calls for a shower body. They simply work. No callbacks.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the price had dropped. However, I soon discovered why. They no longer include the 3/4" threaded plug you need if you are using a single-function trim (eg shower only, no tub spout).
First, there's the waste of time going to et one of these plugs if you don't have one with you. Second, the brass plugs are not cheap if you stop at the nearest hardware store/big box store to grab one.
Still, this shower body is top of the hill. I've bought a few 3/4" plugs to keep handy.

Amazon Customer Brian: Hansgrohe separates the rough in assembly from the trim. This creates a very high quality product that can be easily serviced after installation.

Amazon Customer: When you receive the product, Make sure you inspect the product, there should be a brass screw that screw into one of the four holes. I purchase a lot the past four months, and almost 1/2 of the boxes are missing the screw. I have to return them. Of course, if you are doing shower over tub. This missing screw will work. But if you are doing shower only, that missing screw become very important piece.
I often found missing screw in boxes where the price is really good like less than $80. These low price one must be returns that they are selling as new.

Amazon Customer: Does not include the 3 1/2 inch reductions as advertised. I contacted Amazon customer service about the false advertising, and they referred me to the hansgrohe rep, who recommended we purchase these reductions seperately at additional expense. This has delayed my project, and so the rough-in has not yet been installed. I have now called amazon support twice, as well as the hansgrohe rep, and have not gotten any resolution to this problem, and they continue to advertise that these parts are included.

Amazon Customer: Great quality product. This universal box is for 3/4 inch plumbing and the materials are strong and sturdy. Recommends professional installation by certified plumber but there is a helpful website video showing installation.. The customer service very helpful. I would recommend this brand.

ths: We recently remodeled 3 bathrooms and we are so happy with all the Hansgrohe product.
This iBox is genius... To fully appreciate it, you'll need to watch a video at the Hansgrohe website where they animate this iBox for various configurations. It is just plain genius. Hansgrohe made it simple that this is the only thing you use for shower / tub connect... you want a shower only, use the iBox... you want a shower / tub combo, use the iBox... you want a hand-held shower and jets on the wall, use the iBox. You get the idea.
Installation is easy but requires attention. Because this is German/European, they do things a little differently than us Americans, and thus your American (I'm assuming) contractor / plumber.
First, you have to make sure that it is installed in the proper position... Although it can rotated 180 degrees without consequence, it cannot be rotated 90 degrees. There is actually the word "Top" on top, which my contractor missed. He installed the top to the right instead, so he had to re-do it.
Second, all the connections are screwed / twisted on instead of solder like other brands. You'll melt the plastic if you use solder nearby! My...
