Light-weight so very easy for my 6 year old daughter to move around where she wants it. I like that it folds in half so we can store it away when not in use. Nice purple colour and material is a soft micro suede. Not the same as a real balance beam but a great intro beam for a young gymnast to practice at home.

Daughter saved her money to buy this. She weighs 80lbs but I've used it a little and I'm 127lbs. She has no problem pivoting on it. It's foam inside and eventually the fabric will get a little loose but after a few months of good use, it's still steady. She bought it for $110. Folds nicely and is light weight so she can carry it easily. Would fit under a standard twin bed for storage.

Great for cartwheels, handstands, back walkovers, and more, this foam beam is relatively inexpensive and fun! Overtime, I did notice the beam sinking in slightly, but it didn't much affect the sturdiness of it. It is great for someone who wants to get in practice on a safe, convenient beam. I took off one star because of the slight sinking and because the outside material is so different than on a real beam. While doing cartwheels, it is easier to slip off this beam because of its material than a real one. Other than that, nice value and super fun!

I bought this beam for my niece who is 5. It arrived ahead of schedule and in great shape. She absolutely loves it. It is lightweight and easy to move/store. Coaching gymnastics in the past I can tell you that it will easily work for her level all the way up to gymnasts working on back-handsprings and back tucks. Turns are a little hard on it, but there are so many other skills you can work on that it shouldn't be a problem. I would highly recommend this to others.

I bought this for my 5yr old who has been taking gymnastics for 1yr. She LOVES IT! She keeps jumping up and down saying "You're the best Mommy ever I love having a beam in our house!" She has been practicing since we received! IT is very light to carry, she can fold it and put it away on her own! It is very sturdy and is perfect for gaining confidence with forward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, leaps etc... My 2yr loves this too-it's a great start for her and she finally gets "her turn" to practice!
