My only complaint about the beam is the carrying straps came undone immediately. They are not sewn in there well enough. But the beam itself seems to be made well & it’s lightweight.

My daughter wanted a balance beam for Christmas. This was the best balance beam for our family. It is wide, soft and long. My children, 8 and 6 years old, both love to play on it doing tricks and routines. Our 3 year old neighbor also loves to play on it. It folds up for easy storage and comes with a black bag to store it in. It is light enough for my kids to haul around the house. They bring it up and down the stairs with no problem.

My 79 year old husband is trying to regain his balance. This arrived today and we centered it in a narrow hallway. This way he can touch the walls as he walks it. It is well made and having it in brown blends in with the floor. It folds in half and has a strong piece of Velcro to secure the fold while in use. It has a strong enough foam for my 155 pound husband to feel stable and it’s covered with a soft suede on the top side and a rubber type fabric on the bottom which holds the beam on a wood floor. It holds even better on carpet but we wanted the hall walls to aid him. The width and height is like a 2 x 4 board with slanted sides beyond that. It comes with a nice storage bag. The beam is so light weight that I can hold it in one hand. Matter of fact, it was so light that I thought it would never work, but it’s great and the light weight is an asset! You can store it anywhere! If I could change anything, I wish it was 6 or 7 inches across the top like at physical therapy but theirs was over 100.00! I would buy this again.

I am so pleased with this balance beam. I was afraid to spent the money but when it arrived I was amazed with the quality. I, grandma walk on it too! It’s fun for me and my granddaughter! The beam folds up nicely in the protective bag that came with it. The material feels like soft synthetic suede, so it brushes clean with a cloth or your hand. I purchased another brand of balance beam for another child and this FBSport is clearly a better quality. The other beam didn’t have velcro to close it with or a storage bag! Since school is online these days we use it for gym class and recess.
