Nancy: Ho utilizzato questo strumento per cambiare le corde ad un Ukulele e mi sono trovata bene, comodo da usare e funzionale.
Ottimo compromesso costo-qualità.

bluemesagirl: First time I used this item to pull pins. One side of the peg puller jaw broke off. No problem with the string winder, works great.

La KennedyLa Kennedy: I’m a newbie to playing the Uke and when tuning one of the strings it snapped. I’m up for most things so watched a few videos and thought, I can do this. One of the videos showed the presenter using a fancy winder. It looked good but it was about £18. Rather than spend a fortune (only to find that I can’t restring, and need to go to the music shop) I saw this one and bought it. It’s all black (don’t like black as I love colour, mainly so I can find things easily), but hey ho. It’s made of plastic (no surprise) but it does the job perfectly. It turns a little like a football rattle (the ones they used in the olden days). The small end fits on the key and you turn/wind. Nice and easy. Cannot fault it, easy to use and it does what it’s supposed to.

apoem: This makes changing the strings on a guitar or banjo so much faster and easier. It seems that I am constantly breaking banjo strings and then I spend so much time winding and winding and digging around for a wire cutter. This little tool makes the whole process so much easier.

Mike Davey: I am not as good with my hands as I used to be. I recently acquired a mandolin and this piece of cleverly devised kit made the job of re-stringing much easier.
Cutting each string to size was so easy with the little built-in cutter - well, it is soon built in if you put one handle into the handle of the winder: it is easier to use like this and clearly designed to do so. One cut for each of the 8 strings. Simple.
Then the winder and a doddle to use. Wish I had used one before. It'll be great on my guitars
Decent quality for the money and highly recommended.

Mary K. S. N.: I got this since I've never tried restringing my guitar before and it works really well! The winder is a little loose but it just takes a few tries to get used to it. The wire cutter and pin puller did a great job.

Arturo De La Rosa: This excellent little tool is sturdy and makes changing strings a lot easier. I gave my ancient one to my daughter. Back in the day they came free with your strings. But this one comes with the string cutter so I don't have to dig through the toolbox for wire cutters. You need to open the cutter with both hands. It has to be tight if it is going to cut wires so I don't have a problem with that. I like it a lot and I highly recommend it.

Mike Pulte: Good price for a string winder, pin puller and string cutter all in one. Pro's are it is compact and a 3 in 1. Throw it in your bag and you can change strings anywhere. Cons - Is it the best cutter? not really but it works and gets the job done.

C. Pearce: Why have I never used one of these winders before! Simply brilliant. So easy to use and would definitely recommend guitarists keep one in their travel bag (along with a spare set of strings). The cutter worked really well, its curved blades making it really efficient, and I really like the way it fits snugly into the winding handle so that the whole set can be stored as one.
The reasons I have docked a point are that it feels a little 'plasticy' and 'loose'. Added to which, there is only a single screw holding the handle to the winder, and therefore I would worry about how reliable the unit is - not that it will have any real pressure applied when it is being used. I'm glad I only paid around five and a half quid and not the thirteen that is the retail.
Overall; for just over a fiver, this is a brilliant bit of kit and would be more than happy to recommend other musicians keep one in their bag.
