Danno: This thing works and isn't expensive, but it would be nice, I think, if it had some foam padding inside the cupped part that goes on the tuning nut to A) make it not be loose plastic on metal, and B) to maybe help it stay on the nut a little better as you turn it. All in all it works fine, you just kind off slip off the nut easily and it chatters a bit because it's not a snug fit.

TerryH: This does just as expected for winding and unwinding tuners, but unless I'm doing something wrong, I cannot figure out how to pull out the bone pins with it.

JARED B TUCKER: It worked on my Classical guitar. Just stiff hard to rotate the handle. May need to break it in.

N.: Just used this to change a set of electric guitar strings on a Telecaster.
I had a previous model that was similar to this in past. Notable changes:
- The joint that connects the peg-head part to the handle is a kind of ball joint. This makes winding a little more smooth on the wrist and it feels better.
- The ball joint is plastic on plastic and my model made a little bit of an annoying squeak as I winded it. I put some mineral oil on it that I had nearby and it stopped, no idea if this will destroy the plastic, but at the price of a few bucks I don't care.
- The peg head has two sizes arranged in an X, but the smaller size seems to be a little shallow and slipped off a few times as I was winding the pegs on a '52 reissue telecaster.
Notable omission from an earlier model:
- The old model had a handle with something they called a "string strecher" or something of the like. I decided to write this review because I sort of miss that feature. As it is now, I have to bend the strings and play the guitar to get it out of tune and constantly retune to break in the new strings. The nice thing about that is that you slipped the handle under the string...
