Chastity: I listened to this book and I thought the narrator did a great job. It had a good twist at the end but it didn’t just WOW me.

Ann Marie W: Book held me captuve from the first line... I was tempted to skip to the end so many times out of anxiety to find out what happened... the revelation of Charlie's "rescuer" was a complete plot twist... I only wish I knew whaling told the detective and Carole... What was the last thing she ever did?

LR Stellpflug: 3.5 stars for Gregg Olson's THE LAST THING SHE EVER DID. Interesting premise, on its surface. Fairly engaging narrative. More than a few farfetched happenings, including the overall resolution. Far from the best that I've read, authored by from Mr. Olsen, but even this effort kept me reading to reach the unexpected but somewhat unnecessary conclusion.

katrina rawlings: This was fantastically written, from start to finish. The authors ability to have you constantly on the edge of your seat, wondering what is to come next, absolutely outstanding. I think I found another favourite author. Recommended highly to people who love psychological thrillers.

Kjane: This book is quite different to other books I have read by [author:Gregg Olsen|15035] in that this one isn't quite a graphic and macabre as others.
The books starts with Liz hurrying to sit her bar exam, she is stressed and strung out on pills that enabled her to study into the early hours of the morning. In reversing her car she hears a sickening thud, and discovers she has hit her neighbours three year old son. From here a steady and widening path of havoc unfolds. In a spur of the moment decision, Liz in an effort to protect herself lights a fuse.
This was so hard to put down, with various twists and the ugly side of many of the central characters brought into the spotlight.

Judith Lavoie: Liked the pace of the novel, only criticism is it is difficult to relate to how the protagonist reacts to the incident that sparks the entire plot

Lynda Kelly: Hmmm....this was a solid 4* till I looked back before composing this review at the notes I'd made on my Kindle and as I did I realised there are a LOT of things mentioned I'm having to defer to Google for. A lot. Now, I easily preferred this to the 2 true crime books I've read by him, since both were edited terribly. No proper proofread. This is definitely WAY better presented which I was happy about. Plus I selected this as my Kindle First book for December and paid for it so I'm glad it wasn't a dud.
He's created some.....interesting characters here. Of them all, I have to say the one I really despised was Owen. What a prize he is !! Actually, both the husbands are pretty terrible choices if you ask me ! The tale itself was very good and I read a third on the first evening and a further 50% on the second so it definitely holds the interest. There's not too much I can say other than that regarding the story without writing spoilers so I won't. A couple of characters were treated atrociously by the residents of Bend. Especially Dan....Liz too seemed to be a total flake.
Now to these Google assistance-needed parts....I had to rely on it more than I would've liked. I know we...

Angie T.D.: I have read a few of Gregg Olsen's books and he is a good writer, the subject matter here is hard to stomach and you have to brace yourself.I read a lot of thrillers and I'm sure they are getting more vivid in their descriptions once you get past that though the book is good but definitely not for those of a nervous disposition ,the pace of the book is good and I did enjoy it and will read more books by this author in the future.I would say that this is a good book and well worth a read as long as you are aware there are upsetting scenes.

moodog: Th story was easy to read but aggrivating too. I didn't like the abrupt ending tho. That's why it's not 5 stars.
