After slipping and falling twice on ice, the last time making contact with cement steps, I knew I had to do something. Salt helps, but 9 time out of 10, refreezes. Amazon left package at the top of the driveway by my recycle bin. No blame there, as my driveway is one big sheet of ice, the 2022 Olympic figure skating could be held there. I actually put them on my boots right then and there. Made several trips up and down driveway on trash day, and no slipping at all. WooHoo! I wear a women's size 9.5-10, and ordered the XL to fit over my Crocs Allcast winter boots. I think that is one size up from the size chart. No issues.

Got these for winter hiking. They're very helpful for well-traveled snowy trails where the the snow is nicely packed down; they give good traction without collecting too much stuck-on snow. Pretty easy to get on and off, they're well marked, and they stay pretty well attached to the shoe. They definitely give better traction than less expensive designs I've seen that have little tiny carbide posts on plastic disks in a rubber wrap-around holder.
For those who count ounces, these way 14oz without the basic but functional carrying bag (total weight for both feet)
My one quibble is that after a single use, there's already some signs of rust and corrosion. The only place where I'm really concerned is the buckle on the velcro strap that goes over the top of the foot. If you're wearing these to/from a car there's a good likelihood that you'll encounter salt, so expect to get some rust. If they had spent a little more on a more corrosion-resistant metal, these would be 5-star products. As it is, they're good and do what they need to do, but they would benefit from better materials.

After accidentally sending my order to my aunt in Florida, who was obviously confused as to why I thought she’d need them there, they finally arrived just in time for what was probably our last snow storm. I ordered a pair for my husband (L) and myself (M) and we both thought they were easy to put on and fit well. My husband said he felt much more secure walking instantly. I also agree that I didn’t feel like I was going to slip at all. The only issue I had is that the snow occasionally clumped on them, but having never used crampons before, I’m not sure if that’s just to be expected. Otherwise, excellent product.

This is my first time using crampons - I started hiking a lot last year during the pandemic. I did a lot of research before purchasing these and have used them on 2 hikes now - they are great! Great value for money and go over my hiking shoes perfectly - I am a Men's Size 12 and I ordered the Large size. I go on steep icy inclines which are frozen solid and packed icy trails - the grip is amazing and I was actually able to run on the ice, no problems at all. I give these 5 stars and would definitely recommend to anyone who's hiking in icy conditions.

My husband and I went hiking in Utah last week and after reading many reviews, I had ordered/purchased Greatever Crampons, size XL for my husband who wears a size 12.5 hiking boot and a M for myself (I wear a size 7.5 hiking boot). We were pleasantly surprised to the high quality of this product; our friends had chintzy crampons that were okay, but nothing compared to our crampons. They supported us ascending and descending 1,500+ foot elevations with zero slipping. They were easy to put on/off - just follow the writing on the inside of the black rubber attached to the spikes/chains. They come with a strong Velcro strap for each crampon and a nice carrying case.
My husband had no trouble with his crampons; however, I learned that I needed to pay attention to my footing. Since I am petite, my stride is not as extended as my husband's and a couple of times, my crampons caught onto one another (had my feet too close together). I was glad this happened on flat ground because it would have been far worse if this happened while descending the mountain.
