SG: We already were using one of these umbrellas that we purchased in 2021. We liked it and it was holding up well, so we purchased another in 2023. Went to open it and one of the ribs snapped right at where the rivet was. Sent e-mail to product support and have never heard a word. Have not heard anything from Amazon either.
UPDATE - Grand Patio did get in touch after about 10 days. Offered refund or new umbrella. I chose the new umbrella and it just arrived today. Impressed with the service once they responded. Edited review to positive. thanks Amazon and Grand Patio

Tim: I did not have high expectations for this umbrella -- I was mainly looking for something that would work within my budget -- but I've been quite impressed. The umbrella assembles incredibly easily and holds together in its rectangular shape well. It's been knocked over quite a few times (no fault of its own -- the base I'm using could be much heavier for sure) but has incurred no damage whatsoever. The fabric hasn't lived through a rainy winter yet, though I also likely won't be using the umbrella then, but it's held up to the somewhat harsh southern california sun quite well.

Judith Gleffe: I have purchased other shade coverings that provide shade for my garden and potted plants but this by far has outdone all the others. What makes this better than the others is, it allows you to angle the shade from one side to another. You can obstruct the sun from all angles. None of the others allowed me to do that and eventually the sun reaches a point where you cannot block it. This is a game changer. The heat in Texas is 111 degrees today and my hibiscus is protected. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great sun blocker.

Sam: Does the job well on the hot sunny days recently. Used as free standing,pole not placed through the middle of a table or pinic table, when the wind was stronger was swaying a little.

John Baxter: Purchased this a couple of months ago. My biggest concern is the handle/crank to raise the umbrella. It's already making strange noises as I put the shade up. The sound that gives the impression that all is not as it should be inside the mechanism. I think that I will be lucky if I get the one season out of it. Wouldn't buy again.

Très bon parasol, il est conforme à sa description
Sa matière en nylon est très solide.
Il a une belle couleur sable.
Il est facile à déployer avec sa molette.
Il offre un bel espace ombragé, il peut s'incliner également,
Il faut prévoir un pied de parasol pour bien le maintenir en cas de vent

Très satisfait de cet achat.
