Cyndi Ammons: Okay. So when Covid-19 broke out and everyone went bananas and decided to buy up all the toilet paper, paper towels, etc...I had to find an alternative to the Brawny towels I'd been buying.
Thank you, greedy people, for making me look at alternatives. Why? Because I LOVE this dispenser. I mounted it on the cabinet door above our garbage can and filled it with Scott c-fold paper towels (which, by the way, are cheaper and last much longer than the roll towels - AND are more absorbent). We love it. Easy to use, easy to fill, easy to clean...just awesome.
Now if I can just find an alternative for our toilet paper. Corn cobs are ROUGH! (JUST KIDDING)!

All Day Mom: I wish I had bought one of these ten years ago! It doesn't look any uglier in my kitchen than a roll of paper towels. I bought a fancier oak paper towel dispenser, but that one does not dispense the paper towels easily, and in a kitchen I need the paper towels to dispense without any effort. I chose this instead of an automatic paper towel dispenser because I don't even want to wait the two seconds for the paper towel to dispense when I wave my hand over it. This is much more sanitary than a paper towel roll, which my kids either accidentally unroll into the sink, or drip water through the other towels on the roll from hands that they probably didn't wash properly.
Use the Z-fold "multifold" paper towels from Costco (don't try C-fold towels; they won't work). Two multifold paper towel packs fit in the dispenser. Each towel pulls down the next (like an upside down Kleenex box) so you only ever touch the towel you need. Each multifold paper towel unfolds completely as you pull it out, so you just need one to dry your hands, instead of two or three like most people grab of the C-fold towels, which don't unfold themselves. $30 for 3000 at Costco. Can't beat 1 cent each!

C. L. Hunnefield: I like this paper towel holder. I am using at home, in my apartment. I don't have a lot of counter space, so hanging this on the side of my kitchen cabinet worked out perfect. Also, buying paper towels for this dispenser in bulk is cheaper than buying rolls of paper towels at the grocery store. Because I am a renter I hung this using Command removable Velcro strips that were labeled to hold up to 5 lbs. and they are working great. This is very convenient, because I have it near the sink, so if I have food, paint, dirt, or anything on my hands, I don't have to touch anything. I can just grab a paper towel from this dispenser and wipe my hands off, so I don't get the faucet and sink all messy. Even though most people don't use this type of paper towel dispenser in their homes, I would highly recommend it, to save counter space, money on paper towels, and as a true hands-free way to dispense paper towels if you have messy hobbies or children.

SPS: We decided to replace our guest paper hand towels as they kept hiking up the price each year. This is the almost perfect device. It looks attractive in the guest bathroom in our small business. I would give it a five star but the device can only be opened with a strange flat key and they send only one.Also, it can only be opened from the top to load the hand towels. In order to make it the correct height for customers, I have to get on a step stool to open it. Granted I am short and am relieved that it holds enough so we don't have to load that often. Good enough that I purchased a 2nd one for our other client restroom.
