Gotonovo 3-3/8 Inch Wall Mount Adapter for a Matte Black Clawfoot Tub

RoweRowe: I realize that when I buy items for restoration projects, it can take me months to get around to installing the item, let alone reviewing it.

I’m taking a new approach by reviewing first impressions and will update my review with install notes, tips/tricks and more photos.

I bought a new tub/shower setup for a 1930’s American Standard bathroom. The faucet/tub/shower set arrived and in fantastic condition. It’s exactly what I needed. Except for one thing: My water line pipes are 10” apart and the new shower valve system can go up to 8” apart. My bad for not checking but lo and behold here comes a solution for such an occasion. After much research and review ratings, I landed on this water line variable adjustment set, in polished chrome no less!

It arrived today and when I opened it, I was happy to see that the parts were well packaged and included a spare gasket set. They are made of quality brass that was molded then finished in polished chrome. There are no mold markings on the product and all threads are solid and high quality.

I measured the threads and the ones I purchased are 100% 1/2” MPT for water inlet that connects to the water...

Stephen C RobertsStephen C Roberts: This kit worked perfectly to install a new shower in my antique clawfoot tub. The extra long threads were necessary, and I also needed the brass nuts and appreciated having the rubber washers/gaskets. I had previously purchased the smaller kit with the shorter threads and had to get this one instead.

Despite the docs, the threads are absolutely not 1/2" NPT. I purchased some NPT bushings as well as G1/2 x NPT bushings, and the NPT bushings DID NOT work. The G1/2 x NPT bushings fit perfectly, so be prepared to get some that will connect to your water lines.

Stephen malo: It's 5 star actually. I had to return it however due to my own stupidity I did t measure the thread I needed to go through my clawfoot tub so I had to order one with an extended thread and it works great

POCPOC: Unfortunately, the two fittings were packaged in the same bag with out any proctection. Thus causing the pieces to knock together. As you'll notice in the picture, you can see the brass were the black paint has been chipped off.

abreeze: I got a black wall mount kitchen faucet with a pull-down sprayer, and this is exactly what I needed to install it. The wall mount faucet I bought was not as wide as the holes in my wall so I needed to get an arm. After searching, I came across this and here we are. The color is great, it's a perfect match. You wouldn't be able to tell that the two items were acquired separately. Great product, I'm happy with it.

Para las casas que tienen la tubería a la pared y ocupas conectarla vertical y no horizontal.

Crazy KreisCrazy Kreis: So it works and it needs a few things changed on it longer threaded valve because it barely makes it thru the holes on tub, needs a lock washer added to back to make it sturdy and not fall thru the holes , does not come with one . I just found a brass washer at Lowe’s and used with a toilet connection it works .
