michelle: When I seen this I thought hmmm.. how does this help with a dog's shedding..and even though she hates it and hides when she sees this in my hands, this really helps ALOT..

T: UPDATE: although my original concerns still stand, this brush has exceeded my expectations by far. Dogs with long hair are going to shed no matter what; however, this definitely helps. My dog’s coat is always so soft and silky after using it, and I can tell it is their favorite brush out of all the ones we use. I would definitely suggest it, and will probably buy another one when it breaks.
Seems a little cheaply made. I will update the review after sometime to reflect how long it lasted without breaking.
It may be important to note that the bristles are pointy and kind of sharp. Be careful while using it on your pup; a lot of pressure is not needed.

Blank015: My 18lb chihuahua/terrier mix was shedding like crazy and also had a spot of flaky skin on his back. First use and the flakes are gone! I brush him daily with it for a few minutes and it has cut way down on the hair the roomba picks up. There's 2 things not great about it. One is the handle is pretty uncomfortable to hold - it would be easier to use if it was grooved. also, the brush is much wider than what my little dog needs...I didn't consider that when I purchased it. It's really a great product, though.

SirrydaSirryda: I just adopted a German Shepherd who was shedding so much, he clogged my little robot vacuum 3 times in 1 day before I gave it quits. I used a regular brush and got some fur out but there was still a lot left and he didn't seem to enjoy it. Tonight, I gave this comb a chance and was pretty amazed on how well it worked. He seemed to enjoy the combing and whenever I stopped, he'd turn around so I could do the other side. Only downside I see is when I tried to check his belly area, he thought I was playing and started to "attack" my ankles. Lol.
The picture only shows maybe 15 mins of combing before I had to cut it short because he was too excited and needed time to calm down. Was really easy to clean and felt good when I was using it. Overall, a great tool to de-shed him with.
