the Raz: This came with external 3/8” BSP as expected, and included euro style quick connect fittings, although the male part was also external thread so not the right type. No problem as I had correct fittings on shelf. Other than that I’m quite happy with the purchase, it replaced an old cheap 8 mm reel that ended up restricting too much flow for a rattle gun.

AdamAdam: Great product so much easier than using a typical airline just loose, not used much but seems to be well built.

Just for reference it does include fitting parts which a few previous reviews mentioned you would have to buy instead. This includes the fittings from airline to compressor and tool which is amazing

Update : now realised that the fittings aren’t the ones required to fit to a compressor, had to buy a PCL 3/8 to 1/4 reducer

Ms. Parrothead: Got this retractable air hose for automotive shop and it works great. Keeps hose out of floor when not in use. Retract works good and how’s is good quality. I would recommend this for occasional OR everyday use

KJO: Works great for home garage. Hide seems to be good quality. Mounts well to wall or ceiling. Seems durable after a months heavy use. I would buy again at the less than $100 price. Don’t think it should be sold for more. We bought it on sale.

GMC-Pdx: This is a great match for my Makita air compressor. I really do not need 50 feet but the 40 footer was $60 more for some reason. This unit is very heavy unit, well built but a little hard to install due to the bracket being unremovable from the unit. But I do love this unit and works flawlessly. I highly recommend this product!

GreenerGreener: I read some reviews where people complained they couldn’t remove the bracket. Well, it’s super simple, so you can disregard their reviews. There’s a small plastic hinge pin that you can remove by unscrewing the screw right below it. Super simple... right?

The return spring is rather firm and you need to listen for the clicks to know when it’s ok to release the hose at your desired location. Hard to hear over other noises like the sound of the compressor. Otherwise it comes with 2 large mounting lag bolts, connections and Teflon tape.

Ewww what is that smell?! There’s an odd plastic/rubber smell but... it also smells fishy. Hoping that smell goes away soon. Dropped a star for this reason

For the discounted price of $89 it was a no brainer. It’s well built and looks cool. Highly recommend
