Otherwise is a fantastic colour. Glows nicely under black light. Love the look. Try and find on sale and buy 1 bag per 5 gallon of water. Does that make sense?

nht: Using in sealed fabric packing to weight my crafted Gnome ornaments. These are great size and weight for this purpose. Never use rice for weighting items...as critters...mice, bugs, etc would tear into item!! for dinner!!
These smaller stones are clean and easy to handle for this purpose. Glad I found this brand...will be my go to!

D.A..D.A..: This is pretty great aquarium gravel. Like with all things aquarium related, be sure to wash thoroughly before placing in the tank. I ordered this 5lb bag for my 5 gallon aquarium, rule of thumb to follow for appropriate amount of aquarium gravel is one pound of gravel for every one gallon of water. This 5lb bag covered my 5 gallon tank nicely! I did soak this gravel for awhile after swirling it around with my hands because I noticed the dye came off on my fingers. After soaking for about 30 minutes and more swirling the dye stopped coming off. I really like the black gravel with the contrast of the neon color pops! It worked well with my Bikini Bottom theme and really brightens up everything in the aquarium. Good quality, great price! Highly recommend!

AlexAlex: The gravel is great value for money and is so cute & the house and the little beta hammock were all new and put into clean water at the same time. Didn’t change anything about my routine. Sadly, our fish and snail died less than 24 hours later. I do believe something on the items (a chemical of sort) contributed to their death. I rinsed everything as usual but still. Sad day for my 3 year old. Really pretty though…
