Janet: I have tried quite a few reading lights, and this one is my first that doesn’t require batteries - I love that I can just plug it into the outlet to charge it. I read for at least an hour or two at night, and I have never had the light run out of power. I really like the amber light (3 brightness levels) that most other book lights don’t have. I am actually about to purchase another one of these for my mother!

Joshua Artman: Well made, solid, three colors, different brightnesses are the clear standout benefits of this light. Its a good light! My real (big) issue with this light compared to far simpler ones I've owned is that there are four buttons that are on the base and they aren't raised and tough to differentiate in the dark. You really don't know which button is which in the dark, I'm always fumbling around trying to find the correct button to turn on or off, incorrectly hitting other buttons. I think the buttons should be raised to have some tactile difference that they are buttons as they are completely level with the base. Also, the ON/OFF button should be on the head of the light in a completely different place. The other buttons, brightness (only need one button not two just cycle it) and change of light colors should be on base so you aren't fumbling through all the buttons to find the ON BUTTON. Also, and much more minor, the base is a clip which is handy, but if it were designed with a flatter bottom it could also stand on its own like some others I had. It really is a well made light and attractive light, I just think its tough to differentiate the buttons and when you find the...

Mel: Great book light. Easy to use and the touch buttons aren’t hard to use (e.g. too sensitive or not sensitive enough). The amber light works great for reading before I sleep. The clip is large enough that I’ve never had a problem clipping it to a book. Only downside is the obnoxious blue lights on the body of the clip which indicate the battery status. If these had been amber or even red it would have been great. The blue is super bright and defeats the purpose of having and amber light. I covered mine in washi tape so I could still see the indicators but it dampened the brightness.
