This really works well at keeping bugs at bay on the boat and in a tent. Not so much in a large area, but I expected that. It's super functional. You can hang it with the hook that is has or have it on the table. I put it near the rear light on the boat at night and it does a good job keeping the bug number down. Not perfect though. The battery last a long time. 2 days before I was able to charge it and it was still going strong. Cleaning is a bit of a pain. It comes with a tiny brush to reach in there and clean off the bodies but it's not the best. It is water resistant and says it can be rinsed off but haven't tried it yet. I will next summer. Was a little worried about getting it wet. All in all, I am very happy with this buy and plan to get another.

This does not really work during the day. However at night it works great. Once I turn it on the bugs completely stop bothering me. It's difficult to clean without pressurized water - bugs stick to the zapper and it's hard to get anything in there to pop them off.

Tired of getting eaten alive every time I sit outside while watching my kids swim in the pool, I decided to give this thing a try. Charged up fine, I like that it's portable. However...it doesn't work. I had it right next to me and mosquitoes were landing all over me. They didn't care about it at all and wouldn't go anywhere near it. Maybe it's better at night time? Who knows. During the day, when I am using it most, it's useless. I've tried using it all week with no luck. Guess I'll stick to bug spray.

I purchased GKCI bug zapper because I was having mosquitos issues around my apartment complex, and I wasn’t able to enjoy my patio space. I like how it’s black and sleek and it’s a perfect compact size that also has fold up hook for when u would like to hang it up anywhere. Fully charged will take up about 3 hours. I was pretty amazed how long the battery life last. I think battery life expectancy probably be around 14-15 hours max. It comes with flash light as well. I left it out all night just to see how much critters it picked up. (mind you, I also purchased mosquitos and bug repellents to spray around my patio, so the amount of bugs/ mosquitos subsided. so I wasn’t expecting much of an action.)
