Bev: After reading the various reviews I purchased these and they really do work yes you will have to use a shoe horn I used my finger to make sure I didn’t catch the heel grip, I usually wear a 4 1/2 but now have to go with a size 5 as very few shoes come in half sizes these heel grips make it so much more comfortable and my shoes now fit

After a foot surgery my one foot is larger by 1/2 a shoe size. I bought a pair of kitten heel shoes on Amazon for a wedding. When the shoes arrived, I made sure the shoe on the more difficult and larger foot fit well. Never thought the smaller foot would be the problem. Not until the day of the wedding did I discover that my smaller foot slipped out of the shoe whenever I took a step. UGH! Needless to say, all day I had to be careful not to slip out of that shoe.
I purchased the inserts thru Amazon the very next day and thankfully that does the trick! This insert saved a great pair of shoes for my future use.

Naomi: I had a pair of shoes that was too big, and I was slipping forward and slipping out of the back. The standard heel pads didn't help, and I had high hopes that these would help. The heel part isn't any thicker than a standard one, and the material didn't stop me from sliding forward in the shoe or out in the back. These are fine for a slightly too big shoe, but no betrer than the cheap ones.
