Kelley: I got this yesterday and used it today to loosen lugs and torque wheels 🛞 for a brake job. The finish is excellent and the blow mold case is great. It broke the lug nuts loose like butter, easier than my breaker bar and was easy to tighten as well. It is probably 6” or more inches longer than my breaker bar though. I have had my eye on this for a while and am really glad I finally pulled the trigger, Gear Wrench tools are the best quality for money in my opinion and I expect this will last me as long as am able to turn wrenches

alpha m omega: I was compelled to write this review because this torque wrench is so nice.
I'm 'old school' and wanted a 150lb torque wrench that was 21" long, like my old Craftsman.
All other wrenches I looked at were 18" long.
18" works, but definitely not as easy to use.
I think this is a cost saving feature these days.
Not only is this wrench 21" long, but it is beautifully built.
Obviously high quality.
Reasonably priced between the cheaper lines and the very expensive American made products.
(What can possibly be worth paying $250 or more for a torque wrench? How nice can one get?)
This thing is so nice, I want to show it to someone who will appreciate it.
Buy this wrench - you won't be disappointed.

Scott S: The torque wrench has a nice weighted feel to it. The ratcheting mechanism has a crisp solid feel. Although the wrench is reversing it is used in the clockwise rotation for setting torque. The torque setting is quick to adjust and locks securely in place. The torque reached feedback is good with even with mid weight mechanic gloves on for noisier areas and also has an audible click. I've had the 3/8" version for a while and it too has been a solid performer. At first I was not keen in the 20ftlbs increments on the major scales as I've always had ones with10 but the benefit is quicker adjustment and now that I'm used to it the old wrench feels odd.

alias4jazz: I bought this torque wrench to do a precision inch/pounds torque setting on my car engine. It was expensive, but worth it (I thought), if it works as advertised. I read the reviews on amazon and most were positive, including many who said that the click indicator was noticeable; just a few mentioned that, from their experience, the click mechanism, which would tell me when I reached my torque setting, was non-existent. The wrench is heavy and seemed very well made. The directions were a bit oblique, but understandable. I set the wrench according to the directions and tried to tighten applicable bolts on my engine. Instructions say, "...wrench is designed so that when force is properly applied to the handgrip, an audible signal and/or impulse fell will indicate that the desired torque has been attained." From my experience, there was no audible signal nor impulse indicator to advise me when I had achieved the desired torque settings. I tried this multiple times and ended up guessing on torque pressure. When there is no torque "signal" [as per the provided instructions], this wrench becomes...just a wrench. I tried re-setting it several times and never a click did I hear. So this is...
