Ed and Sabine Didur: I paid $179 cdn probably too much for this case. It is a nice case, interior blue fabric lining is unique, however feels cheap upon further inspection. I think this should be at least priced $50 less around $129 cdn for what it is. I wouldn’t describe as heavy duty, the panels on the case seem flimsy but functional. The latches don’t have a firm positive latch although they do work as it should, I don’t know how long they’ll last. The Yorkville brand is black with grey interior, a standard “boring look” but much more rugged than this case and $60
less. I’m going to keep this case, it is nice for home storage or if you’re only occasionally taking the instrument out in this case it will do the job. It has a nice look, it’s different, unique styling I give it that but that’s where it ends my opinion.

Norm: Though a beautifully made guitar case the material on the exterior looks like it would wear out rather quickly. Also defects in the material right on the top of the case. (Pics) would definetly start deteriorating at these points. Don't think it's suited for the road maybe just your music room.

Ken: Latches won’t close. Can’t trust the case for the guitar I bought it for.. guitar i own is no entry level guitar so I can’t take the chance. Very nice case but disappointed that I can’t trust it due to the latches..

jeff mearns: I only knew about this case cuz o my short-scale semi-hollow arch-top BASS - the manufacturer said this is the ONLY case that'll fit it properly. Wow ... one option !!! So, I hadta pop for it. As soon as I open it, it began to exceed my expectations. I wanted tweed - the pics don't do it justice - it's gorgeous !!! It's a kinda oatmeal color, paired w/dark-chocolate-brown leather trim & patinaed brass hardware - it screams vintage !!! So I opened it - lush royal blue velvet - beautimous !!! Now, will the bass fit ??? Like a glove. Top quality foams, thick cushioning & a support for the angled headstock. The wood frame & panels are stout & it closes up & latches shut like a bank vault. The 'bubble' on the top-side accommodates the arched tops of the '335' body styles & adds a bitto 'Cool' factor. My '335' also fits nicely, so this BAD BOY will be seeing double-duty. It has exceeded my expectations !!!

Michael LynnMichael Lynn: Overall satisfied for the money.
Fits my LTD (ESP) 6 string Bass with only a tiny bit of wiggle room. I was more concerned it would be too small for this bass so just a little bit of room is a relief. I might add a bit of extra padding but for taking it back and forth to church it isn’t going to be an issue.
The style is exactly what I wanted. I didn’t find anything even close in this price range. The other tweed-type option was a vinyl and not even real fabric material.
Hardware looks sturdy enough for its purpose but I wouldn’t expect it to handle any abuse. I have a suspicion that the metal will become weaker with age. Feels like what my grandpa called “pot metal”.
The only defect I found was that some of the glue on the trim didn’t adhere and lifts up. (See pictures) I’m going to run a bead of hot glue under there and stick it back down and I think it should hold just fine.
For storage and transport that is prettier than a plain black box this feels like a good case.
