Placeholder: I have two of these detectors in my house, one near the gas fireplace and one near my gas stove. One day, the one near my stove went off and said, Gas leak detected, please check!" I did and didn't see or smell anything (I have propane, so they add something to make it smell in case of a leak). The detector went off again a second time the same day so I quickly notified customer service on their website explaining the issue. Within five minutes, they had emailed me back and agreed to send me another detector free of charge. He said there must've been a defect in that one, so don't even bother sending that one back. I don't think I've ever had better customer service than this. Then he emailed back about a week later to make sure I had received it and that there were no issues. Absolutely amazing. Thank you again.

guy named Guy: We had a gas insert installed in our fireplace. A fitting was not as tight as it should have been so we had a slow natural gas leak. The leak was raw natural gas and not detected by a carbon-monoxide sensor which detect leaks of burnt gas.

My wife became quite sick from natural gas poisoning.

Therefore, I became curious if I could find a natural gas sensor. There are many models.

Now, we have these natural gas detectors, carbon-monoxide detectors and smoke detectors.

No gas leaks since the fitting was tightened on insert. I hope to never have another experience that will demonstrate how these detectors work.

Amazon Customer: Tells you through audio that it's warming up.
It's smaller than I expected which is a good thing. But it in my RV by the bed just to be safe.

review: Seems to detect gas leaks well.
Adjustable sensitivity meter and alarm increases in intensity dependant on gas levels. Glad I bought a U.SA. made device which seems very good quality and reasonable price. Batteries included a bonus. Simple to use.
