D. W. Hughes: This is for the Gardepro E7 camera. I purchased two of these when I had my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone, and the wifi connection worked great and was stable. This phone used up to Android 9. I got a Google Pixel 7A with Android 13 and then 14, and the wifi connection is slow to establish (at any distance), usually requiring at least two attempts, and is unstable, lasting a few minutes before disconnect, at best. The same is true for the Pixel 6A, while the old S8 phone continues to connect perfectly.

Otherwise the cameras work very well, and give great images. The app is easy to navigate. The only quality issue is that under some circumstances (bright sunlight?) the videos gradually become greener and greener over a 30 second period, until they're quite garish.

As others point out the battery compartment slots are very tight fitting, especially if you use rechargeables. (And you should probably use Li ion rechargeables if you do, since they generate closer to the required peak voltage than alkaline or NiMH rechargeables.)

If it wasn't for the phone issues, I'd give this product a 4 star (with 4.5 numerical).

DbosseDbosse: The media could not be loaded.  Great Camera! Crystal clear day shots/video and detailed night shots/video. I bought a solar panel with three different power level ports to power this camera. I put rechargeable batteries in the camera. The camera creates a hotspot that you connect to via bluetooth on the app. Downloads are pretty fast and I have not had to open the camera and remove the memory card yet. Connection is good up to about 45 feet away. Very easy to set up with the app. The solar panel is about $40 on Amazon. Great job GardePro!

Update 11/25/23 Downloads go much faster whe n you remove the card. Still working great!

gretaloo: The camera is nice enough. The picture quality is good. Unfortunately for my purposes it isn’t great. I wanted to watch the owl house I had put up. There is no way to zoom in the focus on this other than to move the camera closer. There’s no way for me to get it closer than about 20 feet from the house. The sight range is pretty big so any branch blowing in the wind seems to trigger it giving me tons of images of moving trees but no critters. I like the camera and I may move it to watch the critters in the yard instead. My only problem is sometimes it has trouble connecting to the iPad through the app and it takes a few tries. Other than that it’s a decent trail camera.

Hilfa: Best trail camera hands down for the price and I've owned many. I have about 10 trail cameras top name brands like Moultrie, Muddy, Wildgame, Stealth cam, Reconyx, blah blah blah you name the whole shabang and a bunch of other Chinese knock offs like "HAWKEYE" from Amazon that I've had to throw away over the years.....but this one has me surprised. I purchased both the E5 and another non-wifi version in 20 mega pixel quality that is a 2021 version and both are better than all those that I have even those at a similar price from Dicks or Tractor supply. The quality is VERY good when you put it at max quality even at night. It can take a combination of Videos (5 or 10 sec.) and Photos. I've had the camera out for 1month and have had over 3000 photos and videos combined and not one little bar of battery has gone away, it is still fully charged. The other brands especially that HAWKEYE brand that I purchased on Amazon by now would have a lower battery because they are so battery demanding for absolutely no reason, not to mention it got water within a month and I had to throw that one away. This GardePro doesn't even get fog on the lenses...it's incredible. The other...
