av: Do not buy it. You will only send it back. It is one of the most difficult to set up and operate. Spend the extra money for a brand name that has better software by far.

jayjay: Brilliant camera very easy to use and some great photos. This camera is giving me such good results I purchased another one to use in a different part of the garden. I cannot comment on how long the batteries last because I have only used both cameras on mains. I would highly recommend this camera.

Amazon Customer: Bought one to watch hedgehogs that visit my door nightly. It was also very interesting to see what was eating the cat biscuits, as well as the cats. I loved it so much I bought a second camera to have in the garden. Mainly for watching the hedgehogs but the birds seem to want to get in on the act as well. The one in the garden is only set to record overnight and I get exactly what I wanted from it.
It is a clear recording both during day and night but sometimes the motion is triggered by the wind blowing the grass. I spend ages watching what goes on while I sleep. So glad I spent the money.

Ruthie: This Gardepro E6 camera was not my first choice, however it has one big advantage over my original choice as it does actually work. although it too has some short comings.
The build quality seems fairly good with a sturdy waterproof case and a strong clip to keep it closed. Setting up was quite simple using the menu facility to make changes to the default settings. Although other people have had problems with the WiFi connection this was not the case with my unit and the range although limited is adequate for my purposes.
The daylight picture and video quality is very good for a camera in this price range, as for the night vision it is difficult to quantify at present as we are currently having heavy dews and the lens has been fogging up. It has however triggered at night showing foggy video of a hedgehog and a fox.
The big advantage of this camera over my original choice is the use of 940nm no glow Infra red LEDs and the fact there is no visual indication that the camera has been triggered. The original choice had 850 nm Lo glow LEDs and there was a flashing red LED during the time that the camera was operating after being triggered.
So what’s...

bfgbfg: Purchase this to monitor wildlife passing through our yard. It has been working well and I’ve been able to use the info to know when the coyotes are most active.

App installed on iPad with no trouble and it has worked with no problems for over a month now. Connection to the camera was pretty easy. You just have to add it as Bluetooth connection and the app connects to the cameras wi-fi to access the device. Directions were brief and to the point. Has all the features you could want and takes nice pics and movies. I guess the next step up would be a cellular connection camera.

Battery life seems ok. 5 weeks in the cold and it still has 32% left. The camera only operates sunset to sunrise but has taken lots of images.

I’m completely satisfied with this choice.

Loraine Evans: I was originally pleased with this camera, however, last month it stopped working and I can’t work out why. Very disappointing

p l.: The media could not be loaded.  First time trying a wildlife cam. After reading reviews I decided on the E6 WiFi as wanted to be able to just use the phone to see videos and download etc. Set up was pretty straight forward and we were up and running in no time.
Captured some great shots of Mammy hog that’s living in our house we built and looking forward to seeing her babies soon.
I used Duracell batteries that cost £10 for 12 so not the really cheap ones. They only lasted 5 nights. We had been taking 30 sec videos with a 30 sec delay but as the mice were also out at the cat food all night long we were ending up with 100 plus clips per night so I’ve now dropped the clip length down to 15 secs to see how that goes. If it wasn’t for the mice it wouldn’t be so bad I guess.
Going to look at getting a power cable long enough to reach into the window as otherwise it’s going to cost a...

MoonTimber: We started having minor issues with trespassers this summer. When Black Friday 2021 rolled around I decided to buy a bunch of budget cameras to test them out and keep the best six. I compared:

(3) GardePro E5 ($53.99)
(3) GardePro E5S ($57.99)
(1) GardePro E6 ($83.99)
(1) GardePro E8 ($97.99)
(2) Wosport G6oo ($41.99)
(1) Usogood WIFI trail camera 4K (Gifted to me, currently lists for $113.99)
(1) my one year old Victure ($84.22)
(Black Friday 2021 Prices except for the Victure, which was Black Friday of 2020)

So my winners and keepers in order are

1) GardePro E6
2) Gardepro E8
3) Wosport G6oo.

Everything else (Except the Victure) got sent back. That about sums it up, but if you want the details and why I made those choices then read on.

I initially set up a test in the forest behind my house and put all the cameras side by side on a board about four feet off the ground. I set it up so that I could walk into view at a right angle 90 feet away from the cameras then walk directly in towards the lens. I let the cameras run for 24 hours and made several trips down to the board midday, evening...

AriizAriiz: We purchased a less expensive trailcam that had over 10k reviews on Amazon. It didn't have remote connectivity, chewed through batteries in about 2 days and while it captured great movies, it never seemed to to go the length I had set (I set 3 mins and it would range from 5secs to 30 secs most of the time, even with new batteries). It also didn't seem to have audio that worked. We sent it back and ordered this one.

The GardePro E6 exceeded expectations. Out of the box everything worked. We can easily connect via WIFI, view live, download to the phone. We bought it to watch a cat that comes to our backyard and discovered a whole other life out there like this little opossum (Its a screen grab from a movie so the quality is less than the camera quality). Honestly, I haven't even set the camera on its highest settings for video and am really happy with the quality. The camera arrive about a week ago and I am still on the first set of batteries, so battery life seems good.

Overall for what we wanted out of it, we are really happy and would recommend to anyone.

starman52: Wi- Fi/ Bluetooth works very well, was able to connect from about 100ft. away and app is very easy to navigate. Overall build quality is quality is good. Nighttime photos are lesser quality than I had hoped for in the original setup but daylight is pretty decent but not really 24 megapixals ( there's a lot of buffering probably just a 3 or 4 megapixel sensor ) The Nighttime photos showed less than optimal performance from the sensors, the motion detection seemed to work as advertised, but the flash and camera focus didn't sync very well. When testing after dark by walking behind and across the field at about a distance of 75 ft. the camera sensed my motion but the flash and focus were off. I appeared as a light blob ( ghost orb ) moving across until I had came within about 50ft of the camera, this most likely is due to the shorter working range of noglow flash. Overall though the camera is pretty decent for the money. Will be experimenting with different positioning to see if I can get results for night photos.
