The Gardena SILENO Minimo Robotic Lawnmower is a fully automated and whisper-quiet machine that is perfect for lawns up to 2700 sq. ft. It is the best in its class based on battery life, build quality, customer support, and design. Not only does it expertly navigate narrow spaces and tight corners, but it also has an automatic mode that allows for an even mowing of complex lawns. Plus, the grass clippings provide shade that helps to retain moisture and protect your lawn. Get the GARDENA SILENO Minimo and enjoy a perfectly maintained lawn with minimal effort!

c: I have had my eye on robot mowers for decades after seeing one operate as a young adult. Now I finally bought one and am a bit disappointed. The mower initially did not charge so after 2 months of trying to get help from the MFG, I turned to Amazon for help and was assisted right away. Now, 4 months after purchase and full replacement, the promise of help came from the MFG-- too little too late.
Set up is a big deal... mapping out the yard and placing the guide wires. OK. Once done, then you need to make sure there are no pitfalls in the yard upon which the mower might stall or hang up. The mower needs to have a short lawn which is not thick in which to properly function. When docking, it sometimes does not charge and sometimes has trouble finding the docking station. So be aware, it is not as easy as it would seem. I am somewhat happy but also somewhat frustrated.

ThriznohgdThriznohgd: I bought a Gardena robot mower a year ago and I regret it. The mower stopped working after a few months and I contacted Gardena for warranty support. I waited for a month and got no reply. I sent them another email and they said they got my email and were going to look into it. Another week passed and still no resolution. I asked them to send me a replacement part, but they ignored me. I searched online and found out that the parts for this mower are not available anywhere and they are proprietary. It seems like Gardena is waiting for my warranty to expire instead of helping me. I do not recommend this product to anyone because Gardena will not honor its warranty and will not help you when you need it. This is a waste of money and time.

Scott J. Bishop: When considering the Gardena robotic mower, it's essential to be aware of the product's daily usage limit, which may catch users off guard if they plan to use the mower as needed. Unfortunately, this limitation is not explicitly mentioned in the product listing on Amazon, potentially leading to frustration for those expecting full control over the mower's operation.
The daily usage limit restricts the mower to a predetermined amount of operating time each day before it automatically shuts off. This constraint is unmodifiable, leaving users bound to the manufacturer-set limit. Such a restriction can be especially disheartening for those who purchased the mower for its convenience and time-saving features, only to discover they cannot use it as often as required to maintain their lawn.
Moreover, the daily usage limit can pose a significant inconvenience for those who need to mow frequently. Should the mower hit its usage limit before completing the job, users must wait until the next day to finish mowing. This delay may result in an unevenly cut lawn or overgrown grass if mowing cannot be resumed for several days.
While the Gardena robotic mower may suit some...

Henry: The blue tooth setup should be replaced with WiFi. You need to be pretty darn close to the machine for the blue tooth to work. In that sense, it is hardly a truly remote operation as you must go outside and be near the machine to set up your programming. The written instructions are a bit complicated and not that easy to follow. However there are numerous helpful videos available online. It is not very clear from the written materials how to obtain additional supplies such as boundary wire, connectors, cutting blades, etc. Also the videos are not specific to the machine I purchased but I was nevertheless able to figure it out and I was able to set up the particular machine I purchased.
Once all set up, it works pretty well and I really like it. I definitely give it a thumbs up.

Amazon Customer: I recently had 2 Husqvarna automowers installed to mow my large yard, but one small piece was isolated by buildings and my driveway. I installed a Gardena Minimo to take care of this small area. It arrived the day before I was leaving for a 1 week vacation, so I was able to install it that afternoon. If you read the instructions and watch the installation videos it is a very easy machine to set up. It ran every day for the week I was out of town without any problems and has been doing so perfectly since I have come home 2 weeks ago. I have it set to automaticly vary the cut time based on the grass growth and it has reduced the time it runs each day due to the normal summer slow down of grass growth. But when I set it up that section of lawn was tall and did not look good at all. It has managed the area perfectly and the lawn looks great now. Do not pay attention to the negative reviews, every one I read was obviouse that it was not the machines fault. If you are the least bit tech savy and have a little ability this will be an easy set up. Gardena is a division of Husqvarna and they share many parts and technology. And when I purchased mine it was just a little over $500, by far...

Amazon Customer: Someone once wrote that 'Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication’. Gardena’s designers obviously did not get the memo…
My goodness, they do seem to try to complicate things as much as they can! After spending an hour or so installing the robot, and guide and boundary wires, which is relatively simple, then the fun really starts. First it’s the factory PIN - which is treated as top secret information James Bond would happily risk his life for! Why??? Can’t it simply be indicated in the table where all other info is provided? No - naturally, the table which should contain the PIN is left blank! Great thinking from Gardena - it realizes that our lives revolve around installation of their device - so they make it as arduous and time consuming as possible! Necessitated a call to Amazon customer support, which tried to help but couldn’t, and promised that Gardena would return with the PIN info - but of course, it didn’t! Gardena, true to form, sends a generic reply asking that I contact them for the PIN. I guess they need my biometric info, my kindergarten teacher’s name and mother’s maiden name to provide this top secret info.
Whilst I understand...
