Brent H.: Very good mower. I already own this mower which I have been using for at least the past five years without trouble.
Unfortunately, I had to buy the same mower a second time because I couldn't get a replacement grass catcher bag from Greenworks for my previous mower. A squirrel, if you can believe it, got into my shed and shredded my grass catcher bag. Greenworks should been stocking replacement bags for this mower so I didn' t have to buy a second mower.
Still, this is a solid mower, works well and built tough. Light weight and easy to maneuver around a small yard. Stores nice too with fold down handle. One of the better mowers Greenworks makes. Highly recommend.

Tara: I was a little skeptical when this mower first arrived. I'm a pocket sized adult unfortunately that seemed to stop growing at 12, 112pds and 5ft. I was able to lift and carry the box in myself and after opening the box was able to lift the mower out with one hand (thankful for the handy little handle on the main portion of the mower.) I was a little disappointed to see this mower was mostly plastic bits. Once assembled (again, almost obscenely simple process) I used the convenient handle to lift and carry it back outside. After charging the battery and cranking this baby up, I was officially in love. I have bought several mowers, and every one of them were irritating to either carry, assemble or use. She may be small but she is mighty! I previously thought it was a brilliant idea to avoid irritating my neighbors with the noise and stupidly have been using a manual push mower, so my review may be colored by the difficulty of pushing through dense annoyingly healthy grass and weeds, but this mower is so quiet, I could hear my music on my headphones that I left around my neck. Even my husband on the video game inside didn't hear it. And the glory of gripping on to a mower that...

CH: Purchased this 14-inch 40V battery powered mower a little over a year ago for a small but thick Bermuda lawn (~1,200 sf). The mower is lightweight, easy to push, and leaves the lawn nice and smooth. It powers through even when the grass is too high. The blade is sharp, bagging or mulching both work well, and battery life is exceptional. Overall, I am very pleased. I have only had one issue - the blade height adjuster slips out of the notches and falls to a lower setting. Greenworks warranty support exceeded my expectations and handled this problem in a prompt and professional manner. Given the quality of this product and the exceptional support by the company, I am now a loyal Greenworks customer. Hope this info is helpful.

Neera: This is a good and powerful lawn mover. I am using it with 12 Amp , 100 feet line which is giving it enough power to mulch anything. Cord management at start is bit tricky but after sometime you will find it easier than gas. Electric Mower doesn't release harmful smoke, sound is also less and you don't need to store gas. If you have a city sized standard lot then its good and convenient to use. Overall its a good mower at this price.

Shopperanon: Exactly what the title says. Also it’s so nice that you can collapse the handles for easy transport and storage. Disassembling and reassembling is easy once you realize what you have to do - Just be careful of your hands! It cuts high grass well, but you’ll have to empty it more frequently as the pile up gets stuck in the blades more easily.
Tip for new ppl: When disassembling the bottom of the handle, you gotta push it out manually after loosening the latch - not tug the handle downward to fold.

Siouxjo: I purchased this to mow tall weedy grasses that grow in a very large wash that runs through my yard. String trimmers can't handle the tough, stringy grasses that grow in it every summer. I've resorted to using hedge trimmers in the past but that is too back breaking. I wanted a narrow cordless mower to tackle the tough grasses which grow every year in my wash. This works very well for that purpose however the mower feels really cheap and I'm not real confident in how long it will last but I only need to use it a few times a year so if I get 3 years out of it, I'll be happy. One thing I was not happy about was that when I went to try to register it with Greenworks, the registration page didn't work. After filling out all the info, I hit the submit button and nothing would happen. So I tried the "chat" button and that didn't work either. This has left me very doubtful that anything will be done if I end up having a problem with the unit and need to use the 3 year warranty. I finally resorted to printing the form and mailing it via snail mail to them. Very annoying.

rob: I am a perpetual apartment / duplex dweller who occasionally runs up against wacky landlords who actually expect me to deal with lawn care on top of my rent check. Basically, I need something to get the job done as quickly, cheaply, and expense- / maintenance-hassle-free as possible. For me, a corded electric mower fits that bill much better than a conventional combustion-based mower *or* a cordless electric (the latter of which adds significant cost, weight, proper-charging worry, and semi-frequent battery replacement expense).
Corded mowers aren't for everyone or for every yard, but if you can make one work for you, they are about as hassle-free a mowing solution as you could hope for. Buy the right mower, buy a cord, and you're basically done spending money on this particular first-world annoyance for years.
The Greenworks 25142 is the second small budget corded-electric push mower I have owned. I have also owned the Black and Decker LM175, which is comparable in price and functionality to the 25142 (sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive depending on Amazon's mood / automated price-changing algorithm that day). In my research, it seems they are perhaps the...

Customer Ontario: Lasted me the entire summer and hope it will work again next year. Once used to handle the cord between passes, using it is a breeze. I wished the wiring in my house could had handled higher amperage so I bought the wider version.
