Greenworks G-MAX 40V 17-Inch Cordless Brushless Lawn Mower

Chris G.: The mower is lightweight and maneuvers easily. The battery charges in a few hours, and can be installed and removed easily from the mower. After one season, the battery is not lasting quite as long as it did when I first bought the mower. Originally, I could mow 2500 square feet on one charge, with power to spare. Now I sometimes run out before finishing. This may be due to the fact that the grass is thicker at the end of the season than in Spring. I found that if I use the bag, rather than mulching, the mower doesn't have to work as hard, and the battery lasts longer. Overall it's a nice unit. We'll see how long the battery lasts next season.

Kimberly W.Kimberly W.: Ok, so I've had this mower for three summers now cutting thick bermuda.

All in all pretty happy with it. Does not cut like a gas mower, is not heavy enough to settle in the grass and make a smooth cut, I need two batteries to cut a very small yard, have to keep the blade sharp or order a new one every year. Bagger for me was not good.

That being said.... The ease of use, the ease of storage, no gas, no oil, no maintenance makes this little guy worth every penny.

You will get use to the growing pains with this machine and be so happy you bought it.

I can't emphasize enough the ease of storage, use and maintenance. Will run this thing til it dies and then buy another one.

Amazon Customer: The mower came well packaged and was easy to assemble. Was not able to use as soon as I wanted to, so missed the 30 day Amazon window.

About half way through my first mowing the motor developed a loud clicking noise when it shut down. It continued to mow well, but the noise continued every time the motor was shut down.

Called GreenWorks support line. They wanted model numbers, serial numbers, etc. on each piece of equipment (mower, battery, battery charger) before they would help trouble shoot. Once I had everything they needed they were helpful in troubleshooting. They determined that the problem needed hands on examination and suggested 3 repair companies in my area.

A bit of an inconvenience to pack up the mower, battery, and charger and take it to the shop. Not looking forward to this process. I was pleasantly surprised by the repair facility. They called to talk about my experience and get details on the problem. Called back later that day to report they had found the problem - a part had been left off during the manufacturing process. Said they were contacting GreenWorks about getting the replacement part. Called back the next day to say the part was not...

Josefina Zapata: Recently moved from apartment living to a tiny home, best thing I ever done, I couldn't be more happier. Well back to the product. This amazing lawnmower, it was very easy to assemble, if you can't figure it out, then you're a very special kind of person. I didn't even need to read the instructions how to assemble the mower, it was package wonderfully, even after UPS ate a chunk out my box, everything was still there. It was pouring rain the day it was delivered, I wasn't even upset, I pulled the battery and the charger, both wrapped up tightly and protected like a mother loving arms around their children. Charged the battery, took about 30 mins for it to be fully charged, and 5 mins to assemble the mower.
Next day I was ready to cut this tiny yard, with my very bright green electric lawnmower, putting my ear phones on to some 80s, I was ready to tear up this yard up, I have 2 big trees, they drop all kinds of stuff in the yard.
