D.Hill.: This is a very soft light beam. Easy for 7 year old to open and close herself. She said it is softer then the one at gymnastics. It also seems like where it folds up isn't very sturdy. Fun rainbow colors. Daughter loves it. I sure hope it holds up for a while.
