Mike-K: I've owned the exotic $40 Swedish style wooden handle back scrubbers, but they are just ludicrous in their non-ergonomic design. I mean, within 30 seconds of use you realize a straight handle just doesn't work well for a back scrubber. So, my priority this time around was to get a slight curve in the handle, followed by moderately firm bristles. This scrubber is perfect. Its length is just right, fits in your hand nicely, the bristles aren't too stiff (or more commonly so soft they collapse)... and it looks just fine hanging on my tasteful shower wall. I'm 100% happy.

JGB: The brush is nice enough, bristles soft enough but the grip part of the handle is to slippery. Two round rubber bands are included to help with the slippery issue but fails. The grabbing part of the handle needs to be fatter and surface rougher, then it would be a good brush in the shower. Used dry doesn't present the problems when wet.

M. Scip: This is a bit of a strange review as I purchased this brush for 2 purposes.

The first reason I bought this was to gently clean the canvas top (sunbrella) of my pop up camper. With proper care and cleaning techniques my canvas is 16+ years old and still in very good shape. I use this soft bristled brush and 303 multi surface cleaner to gently clean the surface of all of my canvas. This brush is extremely gentile while being extremely good at agitating surface dirt away at the same time. When I am done I use 303 fabric guard to restore the waterproofing on the canvas.

The second reason I purchased this brush is because I have issues with a very oily back. This causes bacteria to flourish causing what I refer to as Bacne. Since I began to use this brush my back has almost completely cleared up. I haven't had the skin on my back look this clear in over 20 years. The bristles are very soft and with my antibacterial soap (Just Dial brand) strip all of the excess oil from my skin without causing any redness or irritation whatsoever. Even when used every day there is no residual redness or scratching to my skin like you would see with an exfoliating...
