jak: pour le remplacement d'un système de filtration Philips obsolète ne se fabricant plus depuis très longtemps ,c'est l'installation du robinet sur le plan de travail qui m'a causé un probléme car l'écroue fourni étant trop large ne pouvais passer entre 2 tasseaux a coté de l'évier ,j'ai du le couper et le bricoler pour pourvoir le visser ,a par ce probléme qui était le plan de travail très inaccessible , le reste aucun probléme ,méme mon appréhension pour les fuites c'est évanouie a la mise en service ,je pense que c'est un bon produit ,mais faite le montage au moment de l'installation de la cuisine , ça vous évitera des énervements couché sur le dos sous l'évier !

Mathew SMathew S: I’ve had the Brita tap filter for ages but at $30 a filter I decided to give this frizzlife a try.

The filter is surprisingly chunky, and I’d expect it to last a fair while. It came with the mount, screws, tubing, filter wrenches, a bunch of clips, and even a razor to cut the tubing plus Teflon.
Installation was quick and easy, and surprisingly no leaks on the first try, Only takes a 1/2” hole to fit the tap, so it can be added easily if you don’t have one.

The tap puts out more pressure then I was expecting, far more then the whimpy Brita did, overall I’d recommend it, so far so good.

Pepe NatarénPepe Natarén: The media could not be loaded.  Es costoso a comparación de otras marcas que venden en México, sin embargo la calidad en los componentes, la facilidad de cambiar los filtros, la durabilidad del mismo, el filtrado y sabor de agua, hacen que valga la pena . Su instalación en realidad no fue tan sencilla ya que tengo 2 cajones de “push to open” debajo de la tarja y el espacio es muy reducido, tal que tuve que quitar el bracket y agregar un cintillo metálico para fijar el filtro. Solamente por ese detalle fue que me tardé mucho pero en realidad te puede tomar solamente 15 min. La llave se puso en un agujero existente que tenía un dispensador de jabón de manos, por lo que no tuvimos que perforar el cuarzo.

Nathalie Laforest: The day I received this filter I started wondering why I waited so long to install one. The overall TCO is about the same as my previous pitcher which was amongst the lower-end priced pitcher filters certified for lead reduction (just like this one).

This filter came with the faucet and all hardware needed for installation besides standard tools (a drill and wrench), and that even includes a valve on the T adapter so you can shut the filter independently from the normal faucet. The filter cartridge can be taken off without shutting off the water inlet (a towel is needed as there's always a bit of water going out when removing the filter) and a bypass allow using the faucet with the cartridge removed (water obviously won't be filtered while in bypass).

Water taste good and this solution is much more convenient than a pitcher. The flow is stronger than I would've expected and within a month I've already saved more time I'd spend filling up my pitcher than it took me installing the faucet!

Definitely a great buy if you're not scared of drilling your sink or countertop. Besides the T adapter which is a simple screw-on adapter the piping is very simple to cut and...

Mark A. Trammell: So far it has been pretty good. About the same or better than the the Pur faucet attached filter it was replacing. Water tastes very clean and good pressure. I do also have 2 ten inch whole house filters sitting at the front of my supply- sediment and carbon block (both 5 micron). This one says it is half a micron. Installation was pretty straight forward even though I hate doing plumbing. For some reason my kit came with double the fittings and hardware and two of the filter wrenches. *shrugs* I like the little tube connector fittings. They are like tiny sharkbite fittings. And they work just as well. No leaks thus far even though i was in a hurry getting it installed. As stated by others, the included faucet is a little on the wobbly side, but no too terrible. I can be easily rotated out of the way so you don't bang pots and pans off if it. I looked up alternative faucets and they are pretty pricey and didn't really look like they offered anything better. So I will stick with this one. I will say the one thing that made me choose this one was the fact that you replaced the inner filter, not the entire cartridge like others. This allows the replacement filters to cost much less....

Eddystone: Frizzlife Part Number MP99 Believe it or not, I went through four (4) different below $100 undersink filters. NEVER by a GE-branded filter in this class. They are poorly designed, will eventually leak, and are unforgiving wen installing. I know because when my ld GE filter failed, I ordered an new GE filter and it was crap. I am not a rookie at home plumbing or water filter installation. The Frizzlife filter reviewed hear (undersink with separate faucet) was a breeze to install and can be easily disassembled if after installation you want to change or clean up the routing of the pipes or the placement of the filter body. NOTE: If you have an older home that has a supply line that ends in the common 1/2" copper pipe threads, you will need an adapter because this system attaches to what are called '3/8" compression threads' (despite the fact that the connection is not a compression connection). This is common these days. Search for "Frizzlife Brass NPT Thread Pipe Fitting Converter - 1/2 to 3/8 inch" on Amazon if you need the adapter. Kory PrehlKory Prehl: Overall, my situation is very different than a "new" house with no existing under-cabinet water filter. The house we live in now was upgraded with our undercounter water Amway filter which today is over 20 years old and everyone in the house was sick of the poor filtering quality. Since Amway stopped selling replacement filters I could only find after-market filters which were not the same quality plus I suspected all the crud on the water spigot and I'm sure the lines were also not so clean any more. So, after enough online analysis and "consumer reporting" (who did not impress me with their recommendation) my wife and I decided on the Frizzlife water filter. Several changes were going to happen because my wife was concerned with the dishwasher in the cabinet adjacent to the sink in that it heated the sink cabinet. This was a problem as she continually noticed "warm" water from the existing filtered water spigot. The heat affected the Amway filter and all the tubing under the sink. In addition, I had run a line from the sink cabinet down to the basement to feed the ice maker. All of which was done with 3/8" tubing instead of the standard 1/4" tubing.
