Katie Reeve-Arnold: I really enjoy this book. The style and content are both pleasing. I have been working with Ayurveda for a while and this is a great summary to get going from. I’m excited to try some of the recipes and am sure this book will bring me lots of joy wherever i go (on ebook/kindle format). I did have a lot of issue with delivery and with contacting Amazon about this issue, this raised for me the issue of removing easily accessible communications from a sales-platform. One can be left, as i was, feeling like the money had been taken but no product was delivered despite the platforms confirmations to the contrary. Tech can be both a blessing and a curse, but i would urge authors to also be interested in the customers gaining the product they paid for with ease and via a structure where communication is possible with the selling platform. Because i was almost left with requesting refund my only option despite the fact that i very much did want the book! Let’s work together to ensure that a sale platform can not reach the point where it feels able to leave consumers high and dry without customer service access.

Candace:
I got this for my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas-(They loved it!)
But before they got here I started reading and like someone said on here, it is So Much More than just a recipe book-
All the information about ayurvedic and on her story of healing so helpful for me-
I could go on and on on what I loved about this book-i could hold this book and feel it was special and had a healing energy to it-
The last day of my son being here I opened again and saw how she also "rated" the alkalinity or not of of recipes -
So much more information-
It is such a beautiful book with so much color and awesome photography-
(And yes, I am getting my own copy)

This book, first of all is BEAUTIFUL. The photographs are stunning and makes it a pleasure to read through. Tons of great information about ayurveda. I just made my first recipie from it (the tofu palak paneer), and even if every other recipie is terrible (which I doubt), I would give it 5 stars on this recipie alone!
I can't believe this doesn't cost more. Thank you for the incredible book!

KA: I am overjoyed with this cookbook. The recipes are not complicated, and I was able to find all the ingredients at my local Indian grocery store in Europe. Sahara Rose Ketabi is steeped in knowledge that she imparts in an easy to understand way. I am completely new to Ayurveda and after eating for my dosha for only a week, my digestive issues have cleared up. But the best part IMO is how gorgeous the book is, and how wonderful the matte pages inside feel. Also the size and weight. It's not too big or heavy. It's absolutely perfect. The pages are beautifully illustrated and colorful with fantastic photos of the food. I cannot recommend this enough, it's my #1 favorite cookbook!

Amanda: The book is very interesting and informative, as well as colorful. I have tried a good amount of the recipes and overall it tastes good. I have noticed that some of her measurements are off. For example, I follow it precisely but noticed some things are not mixed how it should be (ex: maybe too watery). Also, I have not noticed any evidence that Ayurveda works, just that it tastes good. I made a Moroccan recipe, then went to Morocco a month later and it tasted almost nothing like the country, like way, way, way off. But she does mention that this is her own spin on things. So overall I liked the book for taste and fun but not sure how accurate it was.

Maddy G.:
I'm not even sure how I came across this book because I have never heard of her but I am so glad I did. I have studied Ayurveda casually for decades and find it wonderfully adaptable and definitely life-changing, but the traditional suggestions for an Ayurvedic diet were so heavy on dairy and grains I always found that element to be out of touch. Like the author, I was once a raw vegan for a long time and it was helpful initially, since I'm a Pitta and lived in a hot dry climate, but over time it just weakened my digestion and of course, disaster ensued. I experimented a lot over the years with various ways of eating and food prep and recently realized that for my best health it's all about alkalinity and avoiding inflammation. That's honestly something everyone could benefit from but I'll stick to my own story for the sake of objectivity and authenticity.
First, I am struck by how beautiful this book is. As a lifelong bibliophile I loathe paperbacks and was delighted to see this as a hardcover book and quite affordable. The pages are a heavy duty matte finish, which is lovely to the touch and will no doubt prove more durable with frequent use over time....

Justia:
I feel as if I've been waiting much longer for this book than I have, but that is because I've wanted to integrate my vegan lifestyle with Ayurveda since picking up my first of many Ayurveda textbooks nearly 18 months ago. When I finally received it 2nd October, I thought for sure I would delve into the recipes straight away, so imagine my surprise when instead, I poured over the first 90 or so pages, once again the eager student of Ayurveda despite being well-versed in the subject already. And therein lies part of the magic of "Eat, Feel, Fresh" and why I recommend it highly for everyone, regardless of how familiar they are with the principles and wisdom of living in concert with Ayurveda and nature.
I was drawn to Ayurveda because it made intuitive sense to me and because it did not prescribe a one-size-fits-all formula for living our healthiest lives, and because it offers insights to make the most informed choices regarding how to move towards optimal wellness on a daily basis, recognizing that we are not stagnant beings, but ever changing within ourselves and within our relationships with our environments and the seasons. What did not make as much...
