For serious baseball and softball players, the Franklin Sports MLB Electronic Baseball Pitching Machine is the perfect choice. This machine is easy to assemble and offers battery and power efficiency. It also has a built-in flashing red indicator light that shows when the ball pitches, making it easy to prepare for stances. The machine also has a height adjustment feature that makes it ideal for practicing multiple batting angles and styles. It pitches a ball every 7 seconds, helping improve accuracy and precision on the field. The package also includes 6 plastic baseballs. Visit the Franklin Sports store for the best pitching machines on the market.Ray L.: This pitcher is good for slow pitch balls, perfect for young learners. It would be nice if it could also pitch official Wiffle balls, but it won't. Wiffle balls get stuck due to a miniscule size difference. It would also be nice to have the option of using a power adapter instead of buying 4 size D batteries.

devon: It pitches but not well and the warning light isn't much of a warning 1-2 second if that. I got it for my dog that likes to play fetch since the dog ones are so expensive figured out these are cheaper and went the cheaper route. Modifiable with a power supply directly instead of the batteries and it throws em nicely.

Mountain Man: I bought this unit to help my 7 and 8 year old become better at tracking the ball. Dollar for dollar you cannot beat this machine, but there are some drawbacks.
WHAT IT DOES WELL:
• Serves balls from 20~ feet
• Adjusts for pitch angle, can be propped up to toss pop flies
• Develops reaction time from the 7 second pitch timer
WHAT IT DOES POORLY:
• DRINKS BATTERIES. I got a set of rechargeable D cell batteries and they have to be recharged after every session or there is a noticeable lack of power in the pitches
• The balls wear quickly and fly unevenly with only about 100 reps. Balls also do not have red seams so it is hard to see any rotation on the ball
• The feed mechanism is a little janky and does not always have enough gravity to feed the next ball
Overall this is a great entry level training tool - by far the best one I have bought so far. If your kids are new to the game, or just need something to help them get over fear of the ball flying at them, this is a good unit. For what its worth, both my kids have been clocked in the face by this machine and shrugged it off after the initial shock, which is worth its weight in...

Nicole Corcoran: I purchased this knowing it wouldn’t shoot out real baseballs and after reading some reviews we decided to buy this for our 7 year old son since he’s just learning. We knew there would be inconsistencies but it’s very inconsistent which isn’t a horrible thing as just using it an hour in it is already teaching my son what pitches not to swing at. My biggest thing with the inconsistencies I’ve noticed is one pitch is right over the plate and the next smacked him right in the face then the next went well on the other side. He cried a little more from being stunned when hit but it didn’t actually hurt him so that’s also a plus. He’s already hit multiple balls really well and no damage to the balls which I’m happy about. In order to get the pitches to be more at in the strike zone we did have to put it on a bucket but it will still shoot really high or low. But again it does teach him what not to swing at. I haven’t had much of an issue with it moving after pitches as I’ve read. Putting it together wasn’t to bad and it does have a cheap look to it but it does shoot out well for the most part. We did have an issue with a ball getting caught up once and it really...

Abby: Not easy to get everything to fit the way it is supposed to. But still works well.

Dennis Piper: Purchased in Feb as a birthday gift so until we can take it outside we do not know how it performs. His parents however, thought it was a great idea and my adult daughter wished it had been available when she played little league. Six D batteries is a lot and Ds can be hard to find these days. Overall, the price was right, the idea is good and we will see how it works in the spring. I cannot complain at this time.

K Os: Much better than expected with regard to how fast and strong each pitch is. Wasn’t sure if it would be too childish for my ten year old girl that just fished her first season of baseball. She enjoys it very much. It does eat up batteries fast though and it goes through spurts where the pitch isn’t accurate. But overall a great buy for the price.

Amazon Customer: So much fun! Got this for my 6 year old nephew and it had all the kids outside(and a few adults) testing it out. I agree with a few of the reviews that if there is wind it does affect as the balls are light weight it, but there was a breeze when we were using it and it still worked great. We had to of been out there for a few hours and you could tell the batteries were starting to lose some power, but was still kicking. It is unfortunate the size of battery it uses, but I bought the off brand battery at Walmart and it was $14 for 12 batteries, so that’s not too bad! Safety Tips: just don’t let them look directly into the machine and you should be fine haha. It does shoot them out pretty fast and a few kids got hit but there were no tears. Overall this thing was so great and a great tool to help kids with their game. Easy to put together, and the price is right. Get it!

Jess: I got this for my nephew, who is starting fall ball to help with his hand and eye coordination. The balls are plastic and cheap, but the concept is good for playing the real thing
