Mike: I am actually impressed with what I got for the price. I bought it for my bicycle. It worked well and I LOVE the shut off feature. It actually came with a case to put it in.
I'm sure it works well with a car tire.

Brandon Shaffer: The digital readout and the ability to set it to pump to a certain psi is great. Light weight. Case is fairly cheap plastic but if you don't abuse it it's fine. It does go slow, especially at higher psi (40). And you can't run it too long or it will overheat, gotta watch that and if you're doing more than a few minutes you have to give it down time to cool off before resuming. And the cord is a tad short -- in my pickup truck I can barely get from the power socket to the back wheel.

Rajouter 0,5 à la pression souhaité sur l’écran pour obtenir réellement ce que l’on souhaite.

Greggg: For my 55-PSI bike tires, it is a great tool. but for my car's tires, it struggles to add 3 PSI of air to go from 35 lb to 38 lb. Takes a few minutes, but it seems to work. And it's NOISY!
. The AC cable and DC cable are adequate, but the air hose is quite short. This is not a problem for the bike tires, but it could be a little inconvenient for tires on a large car.
. Basically, it's a worthwhile tool for the home workshop.

Alfonso E.Alfonso E.: The media could not be loaded.  Es increíble la sorpresa para bien que te llevas con este aparato, de largo, es una de mis mejores compras en los últimos años en Amazon, porque la inmensa mayoría de lo que compramos en Amazon son auténticas chorradas o parecidos, en cambio, este aparato te puede sacar de un apuro sin budín problema. Lo adquirí hace dos semanas pero aún no lo había utilizado, así que esta mañana decidí probarlo y ver qué tal. Es muy fácil su uso. Lo enchufas al mechero del coche y has de tener en contacto dado, luego lo conectas a la válvula del coche y das al interruptor y a esperar dos minutos aprox en que te infle las rueda, yo dejé la mía en menos de 1 bar y me la infló a 2,25 en poco tiempo. También se puede programar para que te llegue a la presión que tú le indiques. Muy pero muy contento con esta adquisición. Sólo espero que al menos no tenga que usarlo nunca, también sirve para inflar otros artículos y trae para ese menester diferentes boquillas y adaptadores. Lo dicho, muy contento. Recomiendo este artículo que no debe faltar en el maletero del coche.

chFAMlife: Der Fortem Kompressor ist eine handliche und kompakte Lösung. Mit seiner praktischen Größe kann er problemlos im Auto aufbewahrt werden und benötigt auch keinen laufenden Motor, solange das Zündschloss auf der ersten Stufe ist.

Leider ist der Fortem Kompressor sehr laut, was bei bei längerem Gebrauch störend wirken kann. Auch die Anzeige kann für Verwirrung sorgen, da sie nicht bei der eingegebenen Zahl stoppt. Dennoch funktioniert der Kompressor einwandfrei.

Insgesamt kann der Fortem Kompressor empfohlen werden, da er zuverlässig arbeitet und in jeder Situation eingesetzt werden kann. Allerdings ist es auch möglich, einfach kurz zur Tankstelle zu fahren, um den Reifendruck wieder aufzufüllen.

Da: This is a really nice 12 volt compressor system!

1) It is really compact. My other system was much larger and had to go into the car trunk. I bought a smaller vehicle that really does not have a trunk, just a small storage area. This fits well.

2) It has a 12’ cord so it can reach all 4 wheels of my car. You may have to reroute the cable to either the drivers side door or passenger door to reach all 4 vehicles on a larger vehicle.

3) It has a locking tire connection so you don't have to hold it on manually.

4) It has an automatic shut off at the desired pressure so you don't have to continually watch the display.

A few notes;

If your tire is really flat, the compressor should only be run for 8 minutes before it has to be cooled off. However, if your tire is that flat you probably need a tire repair shop. If it was a slow leak this may inflate your tire enough to get you there.

I also use this for my lawn tractor and it is really handy. I have a 120 vac compressor, but it is a pain to set up requiring an extension cord and a 50’ hose. This is easy.

On todays cars with the air pressure monitoring the tires are also better...
