Crystal: This product is a good price and easy to use but somewhere around 6-9 months, the engine dies and even though its plugged in, it won't spin powerfully enough or it will hit the nail and stop spinning all together. The manufacturer sent me a replacement and now I'm about 9 months out and the same thing is happening. I'd say find another brand.

Bubbie: I've been doing my own nails for a while now, but have always been hesistant to get an electric nail filer. This set is perfect and affordable for beginners to experiment and gain experience with creating a professional look at home. The only two cons I can think of so far are: 1. the instruction manual is so small that the photos are pretty much indistinguishable; and 2. the drill heads can be difficult to install and remove. I've found that using a towel or washcloth to grab onto the drill head is more effective than using bare hands.

Using the drill can be scary, but the key is to just be patient and go slowly. The lower speeds allow for beginners to make mistakes without significant injuries or discomfort. In my first time using the drill, I hit the skin around a couple of fingers ever so slightly, and the skin did not break! If that happened at the salon with stronger and faster drills, I would have had open wounds and even slight bleeding.

Overall, I'm very happy with this set, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to do their own mani pedis :)

-small design fits perfectly in my little baby hands
-comes with several bits
-portable!! don’t have to be tied down to the power supply
-really easy to store
-some vibration, but very minimal
-easy to use

cons:
-way too fast on start up, please don’t use this e file on natural nails, you will destroy them
-very loud, despite being advertised as quiet
-no dedicated on/off switch so i have to unplug it every time i switch bits or take a short break
-not beginner friendly
-bit stalls out really easily if you press down while trying to remove product

overall, if you have a decent idea of what you’re doing, this is a great e file. if you’re trying to learn, don’t buy this as your first because it will be pretty easy to mess up.

for $20 it gets the job done and if you’re not looking to do nails professionally and only as a hobby, you definitely can’t beat the price,

Tracy Russell: this drill is so quiet and efficient. it comes with so many drill heads and files and is so strong! highly recommend. IT IS PERFECT for any type of polish or gel and does heat up either. I love it!
