J Michael: I love longer umbrellas for the look but realized I needed a smaller compact one. I’ve had this model before in a different pattern, but it was stolen. I decided to stick with the same style since it weathered the storm! The mechanisms are smooth so opening and closing is effortless.

Mar: While this is lighter weight than other Totes it does not have the same quality as their other travel umbrellas. I don't feel it was worth $35. I have had many Totes designs in the past and it seems their older models are better. Heavier, but better. I am sure with all the modern age products available that Totes can design a sturdy light weight travel umbrella that women can carry with ease in a purse! This one won't last a year.

Doug: I got this to use on my daily commute to NYC. It fits nicely in the side of a back pack sleeve and isn't something you have to lug around. It is well made, but like all umbrellas I break it was caught on a windy day, went inside out and became a bunch of parts. Lesson learned till the next windy day. Totes sent me a new one, but eventually that one met the same fate. Good for commuting.

Wendy Adam: I really like this umbrella, so I bought another when I lost the first. It was sturdy and reliable and the only thing that failed was that the strap stretched with use and tangled in the spokes, so I had to remove it, but that did not affect the umbrella's performance.

BC.: I like this umbrell and it is never wet as it claims and it’s solidly made. I wish though it is a golf size umbrella as it is not really that large in size.
