The sticks are solid, not flimsy, a good value. The link to the videos was very welcome and offered more than one video to watch, if needed. I've started practicing the correct way to use the sticks, which I wouldn't have known about, otherwise (that there is a wrong and a right way). Highly recommend!

Elisa Brandts: Initially I had a hard time pulling out to full extension to stay locked. The instructions need to be followed: pull until you hear a click! Otherwise nice and small when collapsed. Fits in a carry-on or knap sack!

Greenes, Colleen & Jeff: My wife and I do a lot of hiking, but really only use poles if there is a lot of climbing (and particularly steep descending) on the trail where we want the extra support or strength, or multiple creek crossings where my wife ;might need them for balance. Unfortunately, we don't always know how rough or steep the terrain may be when we start the hike, and regular collapsing poles are awkward to attach to our day packs "just in case" we need them. These poles pack very nicely inside a daypack or even in a water bottle pocket outside a pack, and add very little weight. They also are very convenient for packing for trips, easily fitting in a small piece of luggage. It was a little confusing to figure out how to assemble the pole the first time, but after that, it has been super simple to set up and use. They seem to be sufficiently durable and the grips are very comfortable. The cute designs are an extra bonus for some.

phyl: I've been using these collapsible sticks for about a year. Love them. Bring them when we travel. People stop me & ask where I got them. Had a bit of a problem with tips at first. For some reason the speed walking tip spins when I use it. Did discuss with the company. Then I lost one of the standard tips. Called the company again & they sent a new set. Great hiking poles! Excellent company to deal with. Highly recommended.

linda m lewis: This product is intended for use on short hikes this summer on uneven terrain.
I had a little trouble folding the poles back up, after easy assembly. The lock button seemed to be stuck, and after very prompt and helpful customer service via email with the company, this was quickly resolved. I am happy with these poles and they easily fit into my small suitcase or a backpack.
Highly recommend this company, which is family owned.

DC: The product is exactly what I wanted, small and light enough to pack in luggage, and a quality pole once assembled. Assembly is easy, I was send a video explanation before the poles arrived and the enclosed instructions are easy to follow as well. Length adjustment is simple and secure.
Handles are smooth (I've had poles with rough bits where the cork meets the top, but not here) and the straps are comfortable and easy to adjust.
Be careful to order the correct length for your height. The description is accurate and if I'd ordered the men's pole that comes up first in searching Amazon it would have been too long for my liking.

Aman: This review is for The High Stream set of trekking poles. I’m going to compare them to a set of Nianyiso trekking poles I bought on the same day. Both pairs of poles: Fold down nicely, have molded grips, are made of light weight aluminum, have adjustable heights and wrist straps. Both brands come in under 11 ounces for each pole, so there’s no significant weight difference unless you add the holsters, then the Nianyiso poles come in lighter. The Nianyiso poles cost me $36.99 and the High Stream poles $44.99. (I was not paid or given anything to review these I had to buy them!!) I’m going to focus on the differences between the two brands. The High Stream poles have cork grips as opposed to EVA foam grips on the Nianyiso poles. Both grips are molded and are quite comfortable although there is a slight edge to the feel of the cork grips on the High Stream. The High Stream poles also have a secondary grip just below the main grip which is wonderful for ascending hikes. The High Stream poles extend and lock by pulling the upper extension out and a small lock button pops out to lock. No need to line anything up. The Nianyiso poles lock by pulling out the top section and twisting...

Nelisa: I received the wrong one, but they sent the right sticks the next day, it was quick and easy. I love the color, the way that it works, the details in the package. It adjust very easy, it is perfect for me because I’m short 5’ 3”, I didn’t try yet in the field, but next month I have a trip for at least 5 national parks, so will see. Light weight, easy to carry, but strong enough.
