Foldable Canes and Walking Sticks with 300lb Weight Capacity

Amazon Customer: Despite the relative inexpensive price, this cane/chair is outstanding. This is my second one, and I'll keep my first, well-used one as a backup. I took it on overseas trips as well as relying it for everyday needs. I use this regularly whenever I expect to have to stand for a while, or to walk long distances and need a rest. People often inquire when they see me sitting it, because it's sturdy compared with three-legged seat canes. However, I'm 6 feet tall and I wish it were a bit longer/higher, given the length of my arms. I use two canes. So when I use this as a cane on one side, I have to shorten the regular cane on my other side so they're the same height.

L. S.: I loved the idea of having a lightweight cane/chair. The concept is great but I dont think it will hold up under normal use. It feels flimsy. Im 5'6, 170 lbs and I hang over the seat on the sides. I purchased the xL. I'll use it for now but I sit down in it very carefully. Putting weight on the handles when you stand up feels rickety. I hope it lasts a while. My concern is if it does collapse how hard I'll hit the ground. I know since its a cane too it can't be made out of really heavy material but I just don't have confidence it's not going to break.

Amazon Customer: Everything about this foldable chair is GREAT!
Bad Knees and back have unfortunately put limitations on the things that I do and participate in since retiring. I’ve declined many family affairs, for fear that I wouldn’t even be able to walk from my car to even the entrance of a function, without needing to sit down before reaching the entrance. Always looking for, or asking someone if there are places to sit along the way. This foldable chair is a godsend! I Purchased it for an outdoor festival that I’d wanted to attend for Years, but I knew that I would never be able to walk from the parking lot, much less walk an entire park. With the Chair I was able to walk the entire park festival, sitting whenever I physically needed to, even placing my chair between booths and resting while still enjoying the festival, out of the path of festival walkway. When the chair is folded it makes the Best Cane Ever! Very sturdy, durable, extremely lightweight and stands alone even on Grass! Better than any cane that I’ve Ever Used!! IT’S

Itzamia: I've tried quite a few canes and cane/seat combinations. This one is far and away the best for me. VERY lightweight. I use it folded as a cane while walking - hiking over trails. With a fairly large video camera rig on my right shoulder with two handles resting on my chest, a field view screen on the side of the camera and two large batteries hanging from the rear, I'm already carrying about 18 pounds and without any type of cane I've slipped down more creek sides than I care to think about. Thick patches of briars can trip me up too, so I've found I really, really need a cane when hiking.

If I need to stop suddenly I can. This cane/chair will stand on its own. I don't have to lay it down, making wide movements that can scare birds or animals. I can also fold it out with one foot as shown in the descriptive video. Works. EASY to do.

When I came upon a Major Wheeler (red flowers) honeysuckle vine that was covered with hummingbirds I opened the chair with my toe, sat down, and was able to hold the camera braced on my lap for stability and get footage without shake. Even if I don't sit, I can hold the handles with one hand and brace against the cane/chair for more...

MiA: Not sure if solid for longer seating .. iam 300 lb ,kind of afraid to sit ... but is in back of my car for that unexpected long walk .. buyitieallyhaveto sit ,can not. Walk for long ... if ginger could be better ... no solid looking ,but may be. Helpful

Shalom Serene Dickson: I am so sad to have to say that the chair completely and totally broke into pieces and collapsed on me. This was the 350 lb rated one and although I am no lightweight I am well under a hundred pounds less than that 350 lb mark. You can see from my original review that I just loved this chair. Now I didn't use it everyday by any means and I only used it for short periods of time when I did use it so I don't know why it fell apart like it did. I cannot reach the vendor and so I don't have any other way to do anything except warn other people. I had hoped that it was just a lemon but because the vendor doesn't want to discuss it with me and I suspect that it's an ongoing problem.
I think this is the best cane chair available anywhere! It isn't practical for leaning back in, sadly, but none of them are. And it's a whole lot more comfortable than any others I have tried. Much more lightweight as well which is significant. And I like having four feet instead of just one like with most regular canes. I have bought two of these now, one for me and one for my mom.
