Brian: Does what you expect. It's a shove, it can handle some abuse. Was chopping through blackberries with them while digging and it cuts through them nicely without even needing to be sharpened. Thick, heavy clay? It handles that, too.

Broomfield, CO: I was tired of breaking normal shovels when doing landscaping (I've got a very large yard). I purchased this in part because the local hardware stores were so short on options. I was pleasantly surprised by the durable design and materials. Typically a shovel lasts me 1-2 years. I believe this will last me much longer, and it is simple more pleasant to use. Guys like nice tools -- this is a great shovel.
