Shorty: I have a Coleman’s folding shovel, but this seems more on the sturdy side for camping. Yes it’s “big” but worth strapping it on the pack to make a skat hole and campfire use.

Sherri Allen: So I am a short person, 5'0". I thought that having a shovel that was shorter would be a benefit. Not! When I use this shovel, it does not correctly align my body. This shovel is cute and study. It seems to be more of a novelty. It does work ok for small projects but would not be good for any large project.

mohammed: When I got it from the package the middle shiny metal part that connects the shovel with the stick is rusted. Full of rust spots all over the metal. The shuffle had seems to be okay and the plastic handle seems to be someone durable. But the only issue is the connecting peace is frosted badly. This piece holds the shovel together without it the shovel is no longer useful.

Brent: I do metal detecting and this was a great small shovel to have and carry. Since i bought mine I have put it through it paces including tree roots. This shovel has not bent or loosened up at all. Great product!
