guydon: It did what is was supposed to do. Here in California, we had to have one to pass inspection for a house sale. Got it next day, installed in 5 seconds, passed inspection.

Lori K.: We had some work done on our gas line and the representative checked inside our home and found that the gas logs in our fireplace required a damper clamper. I was relieved I did not have to go searching for this product as I was not familiar of it was required for gas log use.

radioman: It is either suggested or even required for ventless gas insert fireplaces. It’s easy to install with the provided wing nut. Check with your provider as to what would work for you.
