Greco: I followed the video and written advice re sizing on the chimney sweep website and used my headtorch but gound it very hard to be certain. The opening seemed to measure 11 x 12 inches so i ordered the 13 x 13 to give myself a bit of leeway. However...now that it is in situ there is a definite gap in terms of width maybe a couple of inches too narrow so i presume the draught exclusion won't really work. It is of course sooty now and I don't have any confidence in getting an accurate measurement as i really tried my best. I had high hopes and am a bit gutted

Kelly 🦋: Happy with this item. Easy to install and has stopped the draughts. Im still having to sweep the chimney floor occasionally so somehow a little debris is getting through. Overall very happy and would recommend as as cheap and quick solution

Hugo: When I want to use the fireplace or I finished using the fireplace it is a bit if a pain. Ashes rain down my head and I get all filthy. Wasn’t the proper size either.

Locarb: This works! We have dealt with chimney smells for years. It was horrible when we ran a bathroom fan or the dryer in our air tight house. We had a fresh air intake fan installed on heat and air system that we run all the time but still got odors. Installed this yesterday and today we have no smells with bath fan and dryer running! Love it!
