Yesenia: I really like this Fieldpiece dual thermometer. Build is very sturdy. Accurate out of the box. Large LCD screen so I can see clearly in lighted conditions but the only downfall of the ST-4 in my opinion is that the screen is not backlit and for the price should be a feature built in.

VK: Pros:
- Fast accurate readings of two probes
- Solid construction
- Good battery life
Cons:
- Have to press a button to switch between the two probes, would be nice if both could be seen on screen at the same time
- It's a tad bulky
- The thermocouples it came with were poor quality and both broke quickly
- The carrying case it came with is pretty bad and I ended up just tossing it

Amazon Customer: I work in the refrigeration trade and have found this instrument to be a decent product at a fair price. I especially like the ability to calibrate the unit using an ice bath and get really accurate results. The case with the plastic cover is a good idea in wet or messy conditions. On the down side, the little Velcro strap with the magnet is a joke - so I cut it off. The T1, T2 and T1-T2 feature is nice, but the meter should scroll through those readings automatically without having to press the required buttons each time. (25 years ago I had an Omega dual input meter and it did just that - it gave a reading for T1, then T2 and then the difference - repeating the sequence indefinitely) which was very handy when dealing with a dynamic temperature situation. All in all, not bad but not great.
