The only down side you have to buy your Own
Brush to apply the dye. There is enough to do 2pairs of shoes. I will buy it again. You can get the brushes on amazon for a good price

DP: I needed to darken some saddle strings, and this dye worked great with just one coat. When it comes to leather, Fiebings is hard to beat!

John Sneddon: Been using this product for doing a few different leatherwork projects over the years, always with vegetable tanned leather. Never had any issues at all, and always rub my work down with some boot polish and beeswax once the dye has dried. Only issue I've got with the product is the listing says it comes with the wool dauber, yet I've never received one with any of my orders.

TomD: I used this to bring color back to a damaged Honor Guard M1 Garand stock on display at a VFW post that had faded to the point that the walnut looked like birch. I cut it 20% with alcohol and it penetrated well without raising the grain. It does have a slight red tint which matches the coloring on older stocks well.

Beejay: I was very hesitant to take on staining a leather reclining chair that over the years became discolored. It was originally black leather but the sun had discolored it over the years.
This product made the chair look new again. I followed the 3 step process : 1) Cleaned the chair with Fieblings deglazer which also removes any coating on the chair. 2) Rubbed the stain on with a dry soft cloth worked better than using their little brush. 3) Once the leather stain dried, wiped on Fieblings Resolene finishing product using a damp tight nit sponge to seal the leather. This completely finishes the look. I recommend this product!

what like: i got this to try on some leather. colour is so cool. As with any leather dye dont get it on your skin (skin is leather). you will have purple sploges for ages.
but to the dye.

two coats on neutral 3.6mm veg tanned leather gave a deep purple.
TEST it out on scrap leather first.

This has got to be the best i have used so far. well worth it money.
