Jessica Annoh: This is a fantastic book!!! I first took it from the library and read it in 3 days, and then decided to buy a copy for myself. It was very engaging, funny, and honestly super informative. I would 100% recommended buying from this seller. I got a book in 2 days!! Super speed, great quality. Thank you very very much!

Viktoria: I read this with some coworkers, and I am a bit disappointed with this book.
I really liked how empowering the message is, and the tools/ coping mechanism are really great reference. The one thing I really did not care for was the whole book had a tone of hatred against men, and that is really not even the true meaning of feminism. Feminism is equality of the sexes. This whole concept, women having the same privileges, and resources as men do in the work place; I love that they are writing about it, and trying to educate women on how to better position themselves.
That's only my opinion though, other than that, it was a great read.

Jamie Pagé: I really enjoyed this book and even though, it might not be my most favourite book it is one of the ones I enjoyed most while reading! I was a bit afraid that it would dive deep into the feministic world of today and come up with all kinds of hate towards men and the male gender in general, but actually, it is researched quite well and it is more about the inequality between men and women and what can be done to improve that! I would buy it again, but I think it is not a book for everyone.

Stacey Wilson: BUY THIS BOOK TODAY!
Its so good I started re-reading it after I had finished it. It not only identifies areas where you aren't reaching your full potentail due to learned behaviour from society and our culture (that yourself, male & female collegues act on) but gives you actions and solutions to reverse the outcome and help create an environment of equality.
This is all done in a light and humourous way which made each page a delight to read.
Definitely one of my fave books ever!

Jennifer B. Kahnweiler, Ph.D.: I now have THE book to recommend to every working woman I know. Author Jessica Bennett writes that we need to fight to combat workplace sexism. She shares a myriad of practical tools and case examples that will substantially expand every woman's repertoire. I also appreciate her drawing from the substantial research on women at work to make her case and help us make our own. And as a professional woman fighting the fight for a few decades now, I do appreciate her playing homage to the workplace feminists that have come before. And just so we don't get too depressed, Bennett weaves in humor and art in just the right places. Feminist Fight Club is a true winner that will help you do more than survive. You will thrive.

Dolly Chugh: Feminist Fight Club is a new book I had heard about (it got a great review in the NYT) but might not have picked up on my own. Then, our students invited the author, NYT journalist Jessica Bennett, to speak at NYU as she/her book are very hot with the millenial crowd right now. I was asked to interview her in a fireside chat. To my delight, I learned so much from her and found so much useful content in this book! It's 100% grounded in social science research but also visual and fun and hilarious and occasionally a tad profane. It is particularly exciting to see an edgy and different format for a non-fiction book. I am getting a lot of energy from the intelligence and courage of the younger generation these days and this book is an excellent example of that.

A great read and a great gift idea for women AND men, anyone who wants us to do better in the workplace and/or could use a really good laugh these days.

Amazon Customer: Although the personal story (a bit New York) here seems somewhat distant from my experiences - as an Australian lawyer in the public service - unfortunately the research about behaviours and attitudes, presented in an engaging way and for the most part with effective humour, applies pretty universally.

I believe I can use many of the ideas here to give myself a better chance of doing well at work, but also of recognising where I am affected by the prevailing culture and ensuring I cut out bias against others.

Lots of the observations are deeply personal and people won't agree with all of them. For example, crying isn't always viewed more negatively conerning women: as far as clients go at my workplace we probably make fewer negative assumptions about women who cry; and more often regard crying men as being manipulative, or sometimes just stunned and dismayed to be actually experiencing consequences for their behaviour (yes, we do represent victims of violence and alleged perpetrators of violence, how did you guess?).

The most persuasive part was, for me, the research. The most useful was some of the techniques for effectiveness in the workplace under current...

Mark Bernhardt: I'm in the middle of reading this book and already feel compelled to review it. I have a female boss who is supportive and empowering, so I wondered if a book on sexism in the workplace would even be that relevant to me. This book is meant for every working woman! Even though I am in a positive work environment, I have strongly identified with what Bennet wrote about working mother's (As someone who pumped for over a year, I laughed out loud at the stuff about "lacthaters" and the "Will I pump today?" flow chart...I was not expecting this and I loved it!). This book reminds women to speak up, take credit they deserve, and not undermine each other. The statement "fight patriarchy, not each other" is a recurrent one, and one I want to take to heart. This book is so entertaining and empowering. Ok, now I need to either go to bed or get back to reading this book!

Amazon Customer: This is a really amazing book. I am a man who has worked in the corporate world for a long time and--I have to be honest--I have been guilty of many of the subtly sexist behaviors that Bennett describes. But after reading Feminist Fight Club, I have been able to readily identify those moments and take action to avoid them--I can literally sit here at my desk and think of half a dozen examples of times when I was about to interrupt a woman in a meeting but held my tongue. The book has also made me a much better ally to my female colleagues, as many of the strategies it outlines (such as, for example, making sure women get the appropriate credit for their ideas/work product) can be implemented by men. In short, this book has profoundly changed my perspective and actions at work, and I have no doubt those changes are going to lead to better outcomes and better relationships for me as well as my female colleagues.

Oh, I almost forgot--the book is also incredibly well-written, insightful, hilarious, and fun to read. There's no doubt I will be going back to it time and time again in the future.
