Trent: This set up saves me countless hours and my back going to the "water store" and filling up jugs of water. It was very easy to install by watching the instructional video thats posted here on the product page on Amazon. Thats what sold me on this unit compared to the others.

I also really like that it doesn't use any electricity or power. If there is a power outage I'll still have clean drinkable water!!

IvesIves: This is a nice and high-quality RO system. A few notes from my experience installing this unit:

1. Make sure that backflow will never happen. I bought a check valve and attached it to the wastewater line (the black tube, as shown in the picture) to make sure of this. Air-gap devices should work fine, too. A high-loop configuration alone may not be enough---when the kitchen sink suddenly needs to drain a huge amount of dirty water, dirty water may still flow into the black tube, and this is what happened before I used a check valve.

2. When cleaning the new tank after installation, make sure each cleaning cycle the tank is completely drained before refilling it. Otherwise, the TDS may still be high.

3. The 4-gallon tank that comes with this RO unit is not as small as I imagined. I have a tiny space under the sink, so I ended up buying a smaller tank from another vendor.

yaha: It si a great product. I had to buy a booster pump and a pressure switch because one needs a certain amount of water pressure from the street, for it to work properly (which I did not have in my apt) so be aware of this issue. But once you work with the pressure it works great. I gave it a 4 bc I had a previous system and I did not need the booster pump. On the other hand the older model I had was a 3 system and this one is a 5 (or 6) process system.

Alexandra C: I was really afraid buying this filter. I have been looking for a RO filter that re-mineralizes the water and adjusts the PH back to a healthy level. The price is so cheap for the unit I expected it to be junk. I opened the box and carefully inspected the parts to ensure quality. I do not want a filter that leaks and wrecks my house so I was very worried.

The quality is 5 stars the only thing I would like to see is better seals on the 3 main filters underneath you have to tighten them way to tight for plastic threads. I would also like more pressure how ever the only unit I saw with decent pressure was the Kinetico filter and it was 5 times the price.

I would strongly recommend this product. outside of a few minor improvements that could be made this is 5 stars across the board the water taste PH and how clean it is hits the mark every time.

I have it plumbed into my fridge and it works with my icemaker just fine without any other mods outside of a T fitting I had to buy and a shut off for the line.
