Amazon Customer: I like to read poetry that carries a message and a little to many of Leav's poems end at hopeless longing or unhealthy obsession for me. There are some beautiful ideas and lines in there, would just like to see her voice channelled in a more nourishing direction at times. It gets tiresome reading the same concepts of codependent love everywhere in society - lets aim for more in art :)
Review based on book, delivery was very good.

(But to be honest, would have been nice to think about a nice layout, cause sometime it's just 2 lines on a full page, what a waste !!! One star left for that ^^)

Devona: The writing in this book is superb! It's like she is able to convey the most intangible parts of the feels into her work. I have recently gotten back into reading poetry because of this book. I found out about this author by scrolling through instagram and I happened to see a post of one of her poems that really moved me. I highly recommend this book it is a quick read and I'm currently reading it again.

Jennetic: I'm quite fond of Lang Leav's work. I mean, being 20-something year old on Tumblr, you HAVE to be! Am I right? With that being said, that website is where I first got introduced to her writing. The poetry in this book, I can describe it as a true love story: from all aspects of life. There's writing about loving yourself and the trials that may come with it sometimes. There are poems about "the one that got away". There are poems about the person who just gets you, now. Simply and beautifully written. I cannot wait to get her other books!

~KJM~: Great poems about love. Told in a way that makes it so you are truly there, experiencing it. Although it's not my favorite of her works, it's still one that will stay with me. She has a way with words, that's for sure.

Amazon Customer: I love Lang Leav's work. I own her other books, and I couldn't pass up owning this as soon as I could.

I can relate to her work, and it's that one of the reasons we read poetry? To relate and have our feelings in print on a page, even if we can say it quite the same way, similar to why we listen to music.

Whether you own her previous work or not, I definitely recommend this book.
