LP: I found this book so interesting. The stories used are heartbreaking, but the methods used to help the victims are fascinating.

Nadia: It was a great read. I feel like the author did a good job balancing the traumas with the science. He did a great job explaining the science behind everything in a way I was able to follow and understand. It was very insightful and definitely emotionally moving.

merghan12: This book had me in tears, I genuinely thought I wouldn’t be able to finish. However, the knowledge behind every word and the experience is like nothing you’ll get from any ordinary psych textbook on trauma. Absolutely incredible.

Lexi: I work with a lot of clients who have experienced trauma or have someone in their lives that has experienced trauma. Not only has this book been helpful for me to convey with my clients how trauma can impact them but also that there can be hope as long as we are able to recognize the how and when trauma impacted them so that the needs that were not met can be addressed. I have suggested it to many clients as well. It's a great book.

Lo leí demasiado rápido, me encantó, la narrativa es atraparte desde el primer capítulo y es increíblemente académico. Reforcé conocimientos con este libro de la manera más cálida pese a los casos tan difíciles que son relatados.
