John Borba: My daughter is very into Disney Princesses and My Little Pony and all of that, and while that's fine and dandy with me... I'd like to have something that rounds that out and encourages her to adventure, develop a strong and supportive group of friends, and allow her to imagine and explore beyond the boundaries of established characters and their defined roles within their world. I'd like her imagination to grow with her understanding of herself and D&D is a great outlet for that. This book caught my 3 year old little girl's attention from her first glimpse at the cover and she asks me to read her this and the 123's nightly. It's awesome to have her point out Almiraj (unicorn bunnies with leopard spots), or the Tabaxi (cat people), and even more rewarding to have her take notice of the female wizard who leads and supports her group and helps them by giving them "magic shoes". When she eventually moves on from this book, I'll be storing it in my memory treasure chest forever.
