joncoded: Got this for about $10 - hard to find any book, let alone a hardcover at this price, and let alone a useful reference hardcover book! It's by National Geographic so you also can't go too wrong with the information in this book that's filled with beer from around the world. Great coffee table volume to have for students, man caves and the like.

Exactly what one reviewer already described as a great "coffee table book" that is put on display for show but never intended to be read.

That is unless you are interested in the fact that if you are one day in Curitiba Brazil you can sample Bodebrown Wee Heavy that is "dark russet brown with a rocky tan head" in appearance, has the aroma of "caramel, baking dark bread, molasses, roasted malts and prunes" and a flavor with "notes of caramel, chocolate, dark fruit, and wood" that feels "round, soft and silky" on the tongue as long as it's served in a "British half pint glass" and paired with "Feijoada and aged gouda" or think you may need to ask for the beer menu in the local dialect in Bengaluru India or if you'd like to study maps that show every brewery in every country as little barrels but fail to tell the brewery name or the city where it's located or want to work into a conversation that Beertopia in Hong Kong "is a beer/foodie /electronic dance music lovers dream", etc., etc.
