Evelyn V.: The writing and storytelling is definitely getting smoother and more entertaining with each volume in this saga. There is definitely a kinder, gentler depiction of the many characters in the story that is more friendly, recognizing the humor but also the humanity of the person. I have enjoyed learning about the "Bucket's " experience of adjusting to a whole new culture.

J B Weaver: I so enjoyed the characters, I feel like I actually know them. I've visited Europe several times but never made it to Greece. I can see I need to correct that on my next trip. The plot and individual stories are full of unforgettable people and situations. I got so involved with them that I cried in book 12. I won't say why so I don't spoil it for future readers. Thanks "Mr Bucket", I'm looking forward to #14.

Roger1: I have always loved reading about people that have moved to Greece to live, and after sifting through amazon book section for such books I stumbled across Bucket to Greece Vol 12. Once I had read it I was hooked, so I went back and started at Vol 1 and I have now read all 13 Volumes in this series, and I can honestly say I have never had such an enjoyable reading experience. These books are both informative and amusing, you will be gripped from beginning to end, I can't wait for more by this author.

MRS S MCKNIGHT: Oh, how happy I was to see Volume 13 had been released, seems such a long time since I finished the other 12 volumes I was having withdrawal symptoms. I love reading about Victor and Marigolds life in the Meli I almost feel like a neighbour, if only!! If you love reading about expatriates and their lives since they moved abroad you will love these books, and if you haven't read them, why not? Vics characters come alive on every page and you get to know them all very quickly. I highly recommend every volume in the series and, like me, you will eagerly be waiting for the next volume of fun, Sun, romance, laughter every d

Amos Spitalhatch: I'll never get to Greece myself, but this series is the next best thing. Enjoyed all 13 volumes, despite having to make notes of misspellings on my iPad ('apeth' for 'ha'porth' crops up throughout and there are plenty of others) but the characters have become like familiar friends and I look forward to the next volume.
