Greta: Putroppo il libro ha tre pagine incollate,due in modo lieve(Ma che comunque staccandole si sono leggermente rovintate) e una incollata un po' di più. Peccato perché i disegni sono bellissimi anche se complessi. La carta è di buona qualità (come tutti i libri creative haven)...cosa per me importantissima do 5 stelle al libro in se ( escludendo le pagine un po' incollate di cui non ha colpa l' auture)

Anna: Als ich angefangen habe, dieses Buch auszumalen, dachte ich: oh je, viel zu klein. Entweder eine neue Lesebrille Stärke 3 oder - eine Vergrößerung der Motive wäre gut. Die Seiten sind perforiert. Man kann sie leicht heraustrennen, kopieren, vergrößern, auf dickeres Papier transferieren - sofern man ein Fan der losen Blättersammlung ist.
Ich bin auf jeden Fall Marty Noble-Fan!
Inzwischen finde ich es gut. Sehr gut! Obwohl ich mich sehr konzentrieren muss, beim Ausmalen der Hintergründe innerhalb der Linien zu bleiben (vielleicht ist das Zen?). Sehr schöne, detailreiche Zeichnungen (die meisten der 31 Motive gefallen mir). Es gibt 4 wundervolle, farbig abgedruckte Ausmalbeispiele. Mit kräftig angespitzten Stiften alles machbar. Ich probiere immer abwechselnd Caran D'Ache, und dann wieder Polychromos. Das Papier ist sehr glatt. Vorsichtiges Aquarellieren geht wohl, aber ich hab's noch nicht probiert.
Schräge Farbzusammenstellungen, bunt und fröhlich. Ein Gute-Laune-Malbuch. Aber man braucht eine ruhige Hand.

Her Royal Peepness Princess HoneyBunny Blayze: Steampunk Fashions by Marty Noble is my first Steampunk.Coloring Books . I decided to go back to the Victorian themed book because, I liked the Vampires book the author had done previously.

The 31 pictures of woman dressed in various Steampunk fashion. Blends the styles of Victorian dress with 20th century touches. That are very detailed and a lot of fun to color

The designs are done in a "close up" portrait style which not only gives you the fashion to color . Hairstyles, accessories and facial features are all clearly drawn to enhance the coloring experience of this book.

Creative Haven is on of my favorite coloring book publishers because of the features they include in their books.

~ There are 2 color example pages on the over pages, one on the front and one on the back.
~ The book opens and lays flat easily.
~ each page is printed on one side of the page. The reverse side is black.
~ each of the 31 pages is perforated
~ pages are thick enough my gel pens don't bleed through and, there is only the slightest warping to the paper

Jacli: Love it! This is the first of the adult coloring books I have seen that really got my interest, the images are clear and dynamic, the subject matter already an interest of mine and works well as a coloring book material. Marty Noble's material is interesting and challenging without having to resort to loads of teensy weensy, super fussy dots and patterns. Many of the adult coloring books I have bought recently are positively loaded with so much unnecessary lilliputian patterrn work and the resulting material so busy that it is less coloring book and more like a chore. I find myself finishing that stuff simply because I paid for it. This book is actually quite exciting. That said, however, there are a few things that keep this review from being a soIid 5.

For instance, I would like thicker, better quality paper that is more capable of tolerating different media. And I have no idea why Marty Noble has included so many feathers, leaves and wedding type items in the book, steampunk is not about that stuff, in fact I have never met a steampunker who wore or carried feathers of any kind in any way, ever. I am sure someone out there is a walking exception but this book features...

nikiniki: I love steampunk and fashion so this is a great book with loads of very detailed and interesting pictures. Each one of the 30 different steampunk designs have images of clocks, cogs, victorian clothing, goggles and other technologies accessories. The lady in each picture is dressed with bustier, corsets or similar attire and often have gloves and holding parasels and are wearing high boots.

I loved colouring the different designs and you could use different colouring mediums to complete them. The pages are perforated for easy removal of each page. They do not have designs on the reverse but are blank which is perfect if you are using alcohol inks. If you do use pens that will bleed, it is advisable to put a piece of board under the picture anyway so that it won't go on to the other pages.

Each page has a border around it.

I really think this is a great book and suitable for adult colouring.

iiiireaderiiiireader: The media could not be loaded.  Steampunk is a genre of books that I have enjoyed for a number of years. The art that has arisen from the literature has been fun and edgy. I have the previous steampunk coloring book by Marty Noble and was really happy to see a coloring book – this time focusing on the fashions (though there are still plenty of elements I look for – gears, clocks, etc.) The women in the pictures are gorgeous, as usual for Ms. Noble and the fashions outrageous, which is what I look for in steampunk.

The 31 fashion designs are based on those of the Victorian age but are updated with unusual, slightly racy, and spunky twists. These are all in line with what steampunk is about – a what-if scenario that changes the way the world works and society would proceed. The designs are elegantly drawn, which is exactly what I have come to expect from Ms. Noble. I am always pleased with her designs and look forward to new ones as they become available. I am hoping that she will come out with another steampunk book that is more dedicated to the machinery of the genre.
